Review: My husband and I have been having so much fun with this book. There are so many names we haven't seen anywhere else and the books looks at lots of different varieties of cool. There are celebrity names but also ancient Roman and Colonial era names, hundreds of foreign names, and lots of fun new names.

Review: There are a million name books out there with the same old irrelevant information -- this one is lively and fun and offers something that NO other book provides! A good way to start the fun part of parenting asap. I LOVED this book.

Review: This book is great. It gives you the list of today's top 100 names, as well as tossing out some lesser known ones from other parts of the world, and names that haven't been in the mainstream for decades. Great book if you want a different name for your baby without it being too out there or borderlining trashy. We got our baby's name from this book!

Summary: Just lists of names for the most part
Review: This book is one I would not recommend. It has pages and pages of just lists of names with no meanings. There are some pages with meanings, or a brief blurb under them, such as Mason is Kelsey Grammer's daughter's name. To me just lists and lists of names is annoying. May as well just read the credits of all the shows you watch.

Review: This book was a major disappointment! Most of the names in the book are old and traditional. This book is a compiled list of "ancient" categorized names. There aren't pronunciations, origins, and meanings.

Review: TO THE REVIEWER WHO CRITICIZED THIS BOOK FOR NOT CONTAINING SUCH THINGS AS DERIVATIONS AND PRONUNCIATIONS, YOU'RE REALLY MISSING THE POINT. IN THIS BOOK (AND THEIR OTHER GREAT BOOK 'BEYOND JENNIFER & JASON, MADISON & MONTANA,') THESE AUTHORS ARE AIMING NOT TO GIVE ALL THE STANDARD INFORMATION YOU CAN FIND IN A DOZEN OTHER BABY NAMING BOOKS, BUT TO PRESENT COMPLETELY FRESH APPROACHES, SUGGESTIONS AND NAMING CHOICES. I HAVE FOUND ALL KINDS OF NEW AND INSPIRING IDEAS I NEVER WOULD HAVE THOUGHT OF WITHOUT THIS BOOK.

Review: Working on our third child we wanted to find a book that would charge up our imagination. This book isn't it. The names are in short supply and well not very "cool". There is alot better books to buy. Don't waste your money on this one.
