He now has filled out the book, done his durable power of attorney and homesteaded his house. He has a living trust that was made several years ago. Summary: Great ideas for help
Review: For somebody who likes to read a lot, but has limited amounts of time, I like this book on caring for aging parents the best. It's a fast read. I just go to the specific topic I need to know about and all of the answers and resources for help are there. I also like the checklists - they are helpful.

Review: I am an HR manager at a large corporation. Every day it seems that an employee comes to my office seeking information to help their elderly parents. Our company sells The Complete Eldercare Planner in our employee store. Everything is helpful in this book - saves me a lot of time. Every human resource manager should have several copies to have on hand. We also hired Joy to give her eldercare workshops to employees and that too was extremely helpful.

Review: I am watching in amazement all of the details my wife is putting into helping her mother, and my wife's sisters do not help her at all. I found Joy's book at our church bookstore and it has been a Godsend. We feel like we're doing everything right and not leaving anything out. That's giving us a lot of peace of mind. Thank God for this book because it has been extremely helpful and easy to read.

Summary: Mom is in a better place now.
Review: I bought this book because I was at the end of my rope and feeling very guilty because I knew I had to consider nursing home care for my mother. This book helped me with that tough decision. In the end it was the right thing to do. I managed to get through this crisis because of the questions I learned to ask that came from the book. I also learned about what kind of questions to ask the staff people who would eventually care for my mother in the nursing home. I have a lot of peace of mind today because of this book and I just wanted to let others know.

Review: I can't always be with my parents a lot because they live far away from me. I used this book to help me find services and it is a tremendous help. I recommend this book highly. I also gave a copy of the book to my parents, and that was very helpful, too.

Review: I cannot recommend this book highly enough. I am so stressed out because of my mother. What I like best is all I have to do is open the book to the chapter that has what I want and all the answer are right there. Last night I read about tips on getting my mom to quit driving. No long paragraphs to read - easy to follow. I love the resouces - there are alot of them. A huge help.

Review: I had no idea how hard it would be for me to get Mom to move out of her house. She was not willing to cooperate at all and then I learned how to talk to her by using the tips in this book. Joy says it all and helped me talk to my Mom - everything Joy said worked. I love this book - planning for Mom's future was so much easier. I can't thank you enough, Joy.
