Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: Needs a facelift, but wonderful content! Review: The photos are grainy, the poetry choppy. But this is one of only a very few that celebrate nursing, especially of an older baby/toddler. I would love to have more to choose from, but until then, this one is well worth looking past the imperfections! My toddler loves it for the familiar images, and I love it for the reinforcement of normal behavior that is hard to find in our culture!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: And you thought you were the only one... Review: This book is a must-have for any mother who is still nursing their child past the first year (or thinking about it). If you ever had any hesitations about extended breastfeeding, this book will show you why you should feel good about your decision to continue nursing your child. The author answers all of your questions about the how, why, and when of extended breastfeeding. This book covers every imaginable topic, including sexuality while nursing, family pressure, tandem nursing, and weaning. The information is very easy to read, and more importantly, it lets you know that you are not alone. Whether your nursing child is 1, 2, 3, or older, this book addresses all of your concerns and questions in a very supportive and informative way.
Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: Fantastic reference! Review: This book is a wealth of information for the mother who is, or plans to be, nursing a toddler. Unfortunately, in our society, most of us do not have several female elders to guide us through the ins and outs of what Americans consider "entended" nursing. Lucky for us, we have La Leche League and this book!

Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: The only book that I know that discusses this issue! Review: This book is essential for women who want to nurse their toddlers. I would like to see it updated. But the best part is realizing how wonderful it is to continue breastfeeding. For example, the quotes from toddlers really make you understand why it's important. In one, a girl says to her mom about a crying baby, "That baby needs to nurse." I'm still nursing my 31/2 year old. I recommend the book to mothers considering weaning before the age of two. It will give you the courage and motivation to continue and be happy about it.
Rating: ![2 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-2-0.gif) Summary: Boring Review: This book just wasn't helpful. I am nursing a toddler, i thought the book was too technical. I didn't learn any new information from the book. In my opinion there wasn't any info about mothering.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Great book! Review: This is the only book I found on nursing toddlers and I loved it! I know I am not the only extended nursing mother in the world, but I am the only one that I know personally. This book really helped validate my concerns regarding extended weaning. Great for any mother currently nursing past one year or thinking about it.
