Summary: A must have for every mom!
Review: Vicki Iovine has become my girlfriend! My friend and I each bought this book and used it as our "bible" for becoming not just better mothers and wives but actual WOMEN again. I can't tell you enough how fabulous it feels to read a book that offers sensible advice in terms that real moms can relate to. Vicki (we now refer to her on a first-name basis) is a girlfriend any woman with children should have. She'll teach you how to bring back that certain something we all had before everyone started piece-by-piece taking it all away.
Thanks, Vicki!!!

Summary: The only book that has made me laugh out loud
Review: What a great book this is! Vicki Iovine has such a great writing style and sharp wit that helps keep lifes challenges with kids in humorous perspective. I am 9 months pregnant with my second child and her book is the only one that makes me laugh and feel good. A must read for mothers trying to juggle lifes many facets!!!

Summary: Where's Vicki?
Review: Where is Vicki in this book? It is a shame she has allowed people in the editorial department to use big words to go on and on about stuff that real mommies don't care about. She has mentioned Oprah in the book and in her columns, so can we expect to see them team up just because of the mention - makes one wonder. Vicki - your voice and insight used to be really refreshing, but now this just isn't you talking in too much of this book as well as your column. .... We want to hear you talk and not your editors. .... I really like just plain old Vicki. .... Some of the most powerful words you could have suggested are left out because you let someone else think for you or turn your words around. The book is funny and charming in many ways, but it's like reading about your life but with a fill in ghost writer. .... ... [It] appears everyone is writing about getting back into a groove or some type of identity for moms who have been long over looked in almost every situation. This is a good thing. We need it and by all means deserve it. But we just want Iovine to come to us with her own words because she is special but if any mom out there thinks when your child is 6, they are grown and don't need you anymore in school or other volunteer positions, they are dead wrong.
