Summary: Great lifetime diet recommendations
Review: This book is the evolution of the atkins diet and the best low carb and high health diet book availible. As every low carb dieter knows you are missing certian healthful food while dieting, this book shows you how to add back healthful items, even grains, to your diet while losing or maintaining weight. I have found a number of recepice that I already use as daily staples.

Review: This diet is the best diet. A diet is really not a diet but a lifestyle. The Hampton's Diet is a way to lose weight the healthy way. For my athletic team I have to maintain a slender look at all times and I gained so much weight trying to do quick diets and by taking pills ect.

I could hardly put this book down. Just like my new morning brew made from soy beans. Taste like coffee, sans the caffeine, and contains no tannic acids. I have no more heartburn and that is something to write about. Google it online under "s oyfee".

Hampton's has transformed my metabolism into working correctly again and I feel great. I can eat what I want and still lose weight. Its really awesome. The first step is motivation. It helps with that too bc you just feel good about yourself. I hope that you enjoy it as much as I do. Thanks.

Summary: The Hamptons Diet
Review: This is a super diet book to help keep your waistline trim. The low-carb recipes are delicious--I never realized how great macadamia oil tasted. This book will make me feel a lot better about getting into my bathing suit in the Hamptons this summer.

Summary: a chiropractor's view
Review: This is one of the best diet books and healthiest plans I have ever read - and I've read a lot! It combines the Atkin's diet with good science and common sense. It finally taught me about the different oils - oincluding the canola oil myth. It is far superior to the Southbeach Diet book(which never seems to give a real diet plan, just menus). The two things I would change about the Hampton's book: 1. Give a more definite protein portion size (the recipes seem to be about 4 to 8 ounces per serving)and/or total daily protein count 2. Include a carbohydrate table. However, all in all, an excellent book!

Summary: A TOTAL WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY
Review: This was hardly a diet book, rather it is an infomercial posing as literature. Every other sentence seems to be about the virtues not of the diet but of a specific product. Macademia Nut Oil, and not just any generic macadamia nut oil but instead only one specific brand. Not too surprisingly other reviewers have indicated that the good doctor apparently is the owner of the company. I can't believe the positive reviews here, they had to be posted by someone in the author's employment. This book was such an insult to anyone with intelligence. Another reviewer refered to the author as a SNAKE OIL salesman and I highly agree. Please save your time and money and don't buy this book.

Summary: A Personal Trainer's Diet Dream
Review: Until I found The Hamptons Diet, I spent countless hours explaining to my clients why Atkins and South Beach were not the right way to lose weight and eat healthy. Dr. Pescatore's healthy approach to weight loss, taking the best of controlled carbs and the Mediterranean diet built on a whole, organic foods platform is right on the money! And anyone who knows even a little bit about the science of fats knows that monounsaturated fats should make up the majority of everyone's fat intake. My clients have found Macadamia nut oil at all their local health food stores and are making sure that the local grocers stock it, too. And while it costs more than the junk oils they're used to, nobody seems to mind spending a couple of dollars more for the results. They can't believe something that good can be healthy. So thank you Dr. Pescatore, now my clients can just buy The Hamptons Diet and spend all the extra time we spent on nutrition doing a few extra sets to get ready for the beach this summer!

Summary: Lose Weight not Money.
Review: Who knew eating whole foods could actually help you lose weight and save money? Thank goodness for Dr. Pescatore. Had it not been for the Hamptons Diet I would have continued eating prepackaged so called low carb foods - like the Atkins foods - and watched both mine and my families cholesterol soar... not to mention my wallet thin out. This diet is so simple to follow and is affordable to anyone who enters any supermarket anywhere in the world. While it seems most diets these days are geared towards people who can spend exorbinant amounts of money on pre prepared foods - Dr. Pescatore's The Hamptons Diet is the first diet actually geared towards lower income families... like mine.
