Review: This is an excellent practical guide for teaching preschool Montessori at home (I refer to it almost daily when teaching my own son). The first part of the book gives a concise and informative introduction to Montessori. The lessons are short, uncomplicated, and easy to read and teach. Instructions for making all of the materials are included at the end. Overall, it is a very complete and self-contained book (its companion, "Teaching Montessori in the Home: The School Years" is also a valuable reference).
