Summary: This book made me even more angry
Review: In short, this book is inane. It is not introspective in the least and it did not make me feel better. It made me feel even angrier that I was having to get over a break up. It's not worth the read if you're really trying to understand what happend without subscribing to cliches.

Summary: Stuck in a Relationship? You need this book!
Review: It's a weary phrase, but if you only buy one relationship book, it has to be this one! If you are looking for help understanding why it's so hard to stay away from the man you want to leave, this is the book for you. Very simple, down to earth terms and examples, it had me nodding my head in agreement on every page. And while you are waiting for it to arrive - DON'T CALL THAT MAN!

Summary: one word: amazing
Review: Letting go of relationships is one of the hardest things for me to do, whether it was a good one or bad. I was looking at books on the site about my situation when I came upon this book. The title alone got me. Once I got it I couldn't put it down, the excercises and the stories helped me realize that I CAN overcome these flawed-from-the-start relationships and find healthy ones. Just chapter seven, entitled "The Ambivilant Man" is worth the read...

Summary: Short and sweet
Review: Loved this book! It's clear, to the point, no-nonsense and actually has a healing effect when reading it. It tells it to you straight, on how to break the vicious cycle of non-commital and ambivalent men in your life. Dump that guy and stop hoping he'll change. Move forward to a better healthier, and happier relationship.

Summary: Reclaiming Ourselves
Review: Rhonda Findling's book is a magnificent survival guide in helping women break free of unfullfilling, frustrating, go no-where relationships that just seem to keep us "stuck" for some reason. These relationships may bring us a lot of happiness in some ways but are flawed in some way or another. We know we need to move on but can't extricate ourselves and have tried and failed as has happened to me. Rhonda has given us a roadmap to follow to guide us out and help us move our lives forward, even allowing for some backsliding. She helps understand why we stay stuck or hooked, how to move through our loss and deal with it. We gain insight into our behavior through the thought-provoking exercises at the end of each chapter. The chapters are very well-written in easily understandable language which provides with a source of comfort in working through this very painful time in our lives. Rhonda provides us with many good ideas in her Ten-Step Program to Not Call That Man and 50 Things to Do To Not Call Him. The book has truly been my survival guide to "Letting Go".

Summary: Save a bullet for me
Review: Save a bullet for me,at least that's what I told my wife if she ever saw me pick up a Findling book again. What a painful experience. I have heard more intelligent conversations late at night at local beer joints than in these hallowed halls of advice.Hang it up partner and thanks for the memories.

Summary: Short but Sweet
Review: So will be this review.....

In a very short one hundred pages, about half of which are comprised of question prompts to guide you through a break up, Findling helps the reader to see the usefulness in learning to let go of a relationship that's over and to get on with life.

You will probably want to use this book in conjunction with another, longer book on relationships, but it's a great first step and one which I believe will begin the healing process if you do as the author admonishes and 'don't call that man!'
