Review: i read this book after i have my first baby boy and i saw that we do all Dr. Shettles said to conceive a boy. Now we have a hope that in the future we can conceive a little girl, i read others books and the only book that i believe is this,is my only hope.good luck for you too.

Summary: Yes! It worked... And it could for you too!
Review: Someone I work with told me about this book. After having two lovely girls, I was about ready to try anything for a boy. I gave the book to my wife for an Xmas present. In February, we conceived a child. Our son Michael Ralph was born two weeks ago, and he means everything to us! We are so blessed, and happy that words alone somehow can't fully explain it. It still feels weird because I guess I was just so used to having girls. Anyway, be sure to read both chapters on the girl and boy, so you know what to do, and what not to do. Most of all, you must be willing to love whatever the Lord blesses you with. I really believed in this book, and would highly recommend it. In fact it is amazing how long the book has been out (first edition 1970). Be sure to follow the method, and have fun. Good Luck to all!

Summary: This book reveals reassuring techniques for the reader.
Review: I found that Dr. Shettles was very thorough in describing the different techniques that a couple could us to attain their desired sex. Dr. Shettles covers many different questions that the couple may have. It was an easy read and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Summary: This book really works
Review: This book does a great job of teaching women about theirmenstrual cycles and how the timing of their cycles will help them notonly get pregnant, but also increase chances of conceiving either a girl or a boy. I used these methods when I conceived both of my children and it worked both times! Now I have my boy AND my girl.

Review: For our first child, my husband and I wanted a little girl - and I am now pregnant with our precious little angel! We follwed the steps and within 3 months concieved our baby girl. All of the "rules"at first it seemed "mechanical" but then it became part of the fun making sure we got it all right. I'm hanging onto this book so when we want a baby boy, we just read different chapters!

Review: My husband and I wanted a boy as our first child. We bought Dr. Shettles' book and followed it to the letter. It worked. Our son will be 1 in August. The book was easy to read and understand. If you want to try to enhance your chances of a particular sex, this book is highly recommended.

Review: It is my pleasure to report that by using the methods described in Dr. Shettles book my wife and I planned for and conceived our beautiful daughter Chloe. Two years later we planned for and conceived our beautiful son Landon. As a licensed health care practitioner I am convinced these methods work, they worked for me and my wife. Now that we have both a boy and a girl, we have decided that we have completed our family.

Summary: Interesting but not fool-proof!
Review: My husband and I tried to use this method to have a daughter for our first child. The book seemed to make sense, but be prepared for a child of either sex, because not everyone can follow the methods (due to irregular cycles, etc.) We have a beautiful son and wouldn't trade him for the world, but we were surprised to find that it hadn't worked for us.

Review: I used this book 3 years ago, to the tee, and it worked: We had a beautiful baby boy. Now we're trying for a girl & using the shettles method. The key is to be patient. Can't wait to see if it works again, or if it was just luck.
