Summary: Very easy to read and encouraging
Review: After having three sons I felt I had nothing to lose but to read Dr. Shettles method. It's extremely easy to read and is encouraging for us parents who have all of the same sex children. I am very eager to try this method and plan to in 5 more months. Pratice hopefully will make a perfect little girl. Whatever the sex will be, one day when my 4th is born, he or she will be loved no matter what and by far having a healthly baby is the miracle of life and Dr. Shettles encourages parents to really feel this so we dont get our hopes up to high.

Review: My husband and I decided that we wanted only two children. We hoped for a boy first, and then a girl. We used this book twice and had a son first and then a daughter three years later. We are so happy to have the children of our dreams! I would highly recommend this book to anyone wanting to have children.

Review: My husband and I decided to read the book and try for a boy since we already had a girl. It all made total scientific sense! We didn't want to know the sex during my pregnancy. Needless to say we were thrilled at that moment of delivery to discover our efforts had paid off. Our son turns one next month! I highly recommend this book, it worked for us!

Review: I just wanted to say that I found the book to be very easy to follow and entertaining. We had two daughters and after reading the book I understood how it worked. So we tried for a son and did indeed get one. I thought he should have a brother so we tried again. We are now expecting identical twin boys!!! Thank you very very much for the information. Summary: It's complicated but I'm convinced
Review: After having a beautiful baby boy. We're going to try for the "perfect family" a girl using the method discribed in the book. Either way there is no harm done. A healthy baby is all that counts.

Summary: A good book, but it didn't work for us!!
Review: Everything in the book seemed to make sense. When trying for our second child we followed the boy method to the tee. In fact, we got pregnant on our first try, but conceived a beautiful little girl instead of a boy!! I was shocked when the Ultrasound tech said "It's a girl".. Believe me we are NOT disappointed at all, she is a ray of sunshine!! I just want folks to know that there really is a possiblity that this book's methods won't work for them also. As the book states, have a child because you really want a child, regardless of the sex of the child. We are going to try one more time, but will probably try another method.

Review: Just read this book and it makes total sense to me. We just had our first baby - a beautiful little boy. Looking back, we followed the path Dr. Shettles advises for a boy. Next time, we'll try his recs for a girl. I know it isn't fullproof, but this plan makes a lot of sense to me. Glad to have the information.

Review: This is just a follow up to my previous review of this book. I did deliver my 1st son on sept 6th 1998 his due date. using my charts i was able to determine ovulation using Dr Shettles method after only 3 cycles.

Review: I don't know if it really worked for us or if we just got lucky. What I do know is that we followed the recipe to the tee and we now have a beautiful baby boy.

Review: This is the reprint of a version I had from the seventies. I got my copy from my sister who used it for her four and got !00%; I used it for my son and got 100%; and loaned it to many friends all of whom got 100%! And I never got my copy back! It hasn't failed yet! Only one thing the Father-to-be needs to know first: can he produce both sexes? If so, read the book and have fun!
