Summary: A Must Have for 1st Time Dads
Review: Written to an audience of men, the author Armin Brott strikes a chord with those who are often forgotten, ignored, and disregarded during the important processes of pregnancy and childbirth. His detailed and often humorous accounts of his own experiences inspire respect and admiration - as well as establish him as an authority on the subject.Each stage of the pregnancy is detailed with "what's happening with the baby" "what's happening with the mother" and "what's happening with you" segments that provide valuable details. This book gives you the tools you need to make informed decisions on everything from childbirth preparation to choosing medical professionals to diet and exercise to getting your home and its current inhabitants ready for the new arrival. Suggestions on how to cope with the changes in your life, as well as empowering details on how you and your partner can take control of the process and make it your own are peppered throughout the book. An enlightening segment titled "Fathering Today" gives all of us fathers notice that we have some work to do to turn things around and to take an active role in our children's lives. You'll read these chapters again and again and even if you have other children, pick up a copy of this book for nothing else than the fantastic preparation checklists. I'm glad I did and I'll be getting copies of Armin's other books as well.

Summary: A Great Book for Dads and Moms!!
Review: This book is great! It is interesting and funny, perfect for guys who are reluctant to read anything about babies. There is a lot of information in here that most mothers would want the father of their baby to be familiar with. It is divided into month-by-month chapters telling the new daddy how his partner will be feeling physically and emotionally each month while also giving tips on what he can do to help her and how to feel involved in the pregnancy. I highly recommend this book, my husband and I both loved it!

Summary: pretty good for the first dad-to-be
Review: As a dad-to-be for the first time, this book was pretty good for me. My wife and I did not like the style of "what to expect when you are expecting", and I was looking for the book a little bit more for dads-to-be. This was my first book about pregnancy and childbirth stuff. As long as you read more than one book, then this one is not bad at all. And it can be good starting point for the man who does not realize what's going on with his wife, and who does not know where to start and what to think. I had a good time to discuss some ideas from this book with my wife.

Review: This was the best book to get by darling Hubby involved with the pregnancy until the ultrasounds and baby movements! Best part about it - the book gave him excellent advice on how to deal with wonderful pregnant wife. If you only buy one book him - this is it!

Review: With so many books about how to help moms through pregnancy and having kids its always nice to see a great book for dads to help them become part of the process. Many dads are not comfortable asking questions, so a book like this can be so valuable! Brott covers every possible topic one could hope to find and answers questions dads might have with straight-forward and informative advice. Its also an entertaining and easy book to read. I highly recommend all of Brott's books, but this one is destined to become a classic and a popular gift! Anne Leedom

Review: When my wife was pregnant with our third child, I thought I knew pretty much everything there was to know about pregnancy and birth. So I was pretty skeptical when someone gave me a copy of this book. It answered a lot of the questions that I didn¡¦t even know I had. I think it¡¦s really worthwhile for first-time and old-time expectant daddies.
