Review: Gwendolyn Diaz has written a jem of a book! Each mom who is lucky enough to read it will find herself in hysterics at moments, and in moments of reflection as she thinks of her own kids. This is a very personal book, and one filled with a lot of thought provoking ideas. You feel as if you know each of the people mentioned very well by the end of the stories. The christian views are wonderful and add a really neat perk to the everyday humorous tales that fill its pages.What a neat life she has led,what neat children she has, and most of all, what a wonderful christian heart she has! Once you start reading this book you will have a hard time putting it down!

Summary: Motherhood was meant to be a blast!
Review: I have to admit to you right up front that I am really not "Mighty Mom!" My sons clued me in on that a long time ago! However, the publishers felt that a book with "Mighty Mom" in the title would sell a whole lot better than one touting the everyday rigors of a "Regular Mom". I'm sure my kids have done all the same things as yours - they've broken my favorite knick-knacks, smeared jelly on the sofa, and guilted me into buying them the latest flashing, neon, remote-controlled whatever. They've taught me to look at bugs in the bathtub with wide-eyed wonder, smile when the spigot spits out mud, and not to wear white to a ball game. They've intrigued me, thrilled me, and embarrassed me all at the same instant. (Your kids may never have booed from the balcony during a formal church service, but I'm sure they've done something comparable - please tell me they have!) I hope my version of your stories will encourage you and make you smile. I am overwhelmed when I realize that God trusted me to raise four of His precious children. I am humbled when I'm forced to acknowledge my complete inability to do it without His guidance and help. I'm thrilled that He has allowed me the opportunity to share my experiences with you. I'm convinced that He meant for motherhood to be a blast!

Summary: I love it!
Review: I would highly recommend this book to all mothers but especially those with children still at home. It will give you a lift but more than that it will inspire you to really appreciate and cherish the precious gift God has given us with our children. I have laughed, cried, agreed and said "that's my kids she's writting about!" and then at the end of each section I'm always reminded of God's goodness and His work in our lives even in the simple day to day adventures!
