Summary: helpful and amusing
Review: I have read all 3 of Amy's books. They are full of earthy wisdom about child-rearing and motherhood...AND, they're fun and funny to read. I gave this book to a first time mother (over40) who feared that her so-called negative feelings were off the chart. After she read Amy's book, she felt so reassured.

Keep up the good work Amy. Write a book about anything and I'll read it.

Summary: Nice to Know I'm Not Alone
Review: I'm beginning to think that Amy has video cameras set up in my house, because so much of what happens in her books, happen in my house. Once again, Amy has written a short, sweet and very funny book about motherhood. Once again, Amy has made me feel like I'm not the only mom who feels like she does -- like taking off as a passenger in a semi one day. A must read for moms!

Summary: Motherhood is a trip!
Review: This book hit my funny bone and struck me deep within the soul. Motherhood is an awesome task. Amy Krouse Rosenthal captures it all with amazing detail and adds a warmth that nestles you deep in the movement of her journey. She made me think : What can I do to be a little better mom...even if it to hear a silly song or story that I have heard a zillion times. To actually open my ears and listen as though I was at the opera. Just that act might make a difference...to Mrs. Rosenthal I raise my sippy cup of juice and salute you !

Summary: Not just for mothers
Review: This book is a gem, not just for mothers, but for keen observers of the wonders of everyday life. I'm not yet a mother, one month and counting, but I found this book filled with wisdom and wit. If my experiences can be any where close to those of Amy Krouse Rosenthal I can only guess that I'm going to love this trip down motherhood lane. I also have a feeling I'll be reading Ms. Rosenthal's words again and again searching through these pages for those pearls of advice that I can use in my own life. I hope to see more from this talented and thought provoking author!

Summary: Great title, stupid book
Review: This book is so bad that I cannot help wondering if the people who wrote such glowing reviews are freinds and family of the author. This was a total waste of time and money. I only paid $4.99 for the book and that was too much. This is a very immature approach to parenting and life. If you are looking for someting wise and funny, try Erma Bombeck.

Summary: A must have for every parent
Review: This book was laugh out loud funny. Amy is incredibly witty. She finds humor in ordinary family life. After I read this book I realized that my family is actually "normal". I read this book in one night. Once you start reading you will not be able to put it down. After reading this book I felt a sense of relief from the frustrations of the toddler years. Buy it!

Summary: Sure to make you smile
Review: What a pleasant surprise to find an author who can continue to write such quality work. Amy Krouse Rosenthal has given us all another fantastic look into motherhood. In keeping with her usual style, Krouse Rosenthal has a way of relating her content to the general public. I found myself laughing out loud and continuously agreeing with her statements and experiences. I was comforted to know that even Amy has experienced bed time traumas, and I can only hope that her advice works in my home. This is the kind of book one can read again and again and continue to enjoy!

Summary: IF YOU ONLY READ ONE BOOK THIS YEAR...
Review: YOU MUST BE THE MOTHER OF SMALL CHILDREN TOO! As the mother of three kids, I could totally relate to this book. After reading it (in one sitting i might add!), I felt like I really knew the author, like she's one of the moms in my play group. I'm definitely giving this book to all the mothers i know.
