Summary: This blew me away
Review: Hold on to your hats, hold on to your heads, this book stuns, delights, defies, and finally just plain peases the reader for its gripping plot and lyrical language. Its shocking that THIS BOOK is by Rosie O'Donnell; it's a whole new side to her, and one that all her fans should get to know. I most enjoyed this book, I think, for its structure, the way it at once broke all rules about conventional memoir while delivering the very best of what memoir has to offer: startling revlations, complete honesty. I held on to my hat while reading it, and now that I'm done, my hat is off to you, Rosie. Write the next one, quick!

Summary: Well Done
Review: I had watched Rosie on her show for years. I ( for one) knew she was a lesbian before she came out. We lesbians just know but...this book does not mention a thing about it. I laugh now, as I know everyone will. OHHH! Rosie's book is about her coming out and for publicity. WOW! They were all wrong. This is a heartfelt book about someones caring, giving and charitable ways, who happen to be famous in the eyes of everyone , except her. I see a person trying to help her humankind by just being a friend. I saw another side of Ro O'Donnell I really enjoyed reading about and I would love to just meet her on the street and ask her if she would like to sit down with my partner and I and have a beer. I liked this book, I couldn't put it down until I finished it. It's a Great Read !!

Summary: A Great Book. I read it in one day.
Review: When I received "Find Me" in the mail I started to read it. I was hooked from the begin. Its the story of Rosie O'Donnell when she received a call from a 14-year old girl who had been raped and was now pregnant. Rosie began to talk to her, her mother, and father on a regular basis throughout the pregnancy. Its about Rosie's childhood, her relationship with these strangers and the things they taught her. This book is a bit mysterious because although you feel you know the young girl you really have no clue who she is. If you are looking for information about Rosie's love life this is not the book. She briefly describes two relationships she had. One with a woman the other with a man. The book really shows what goes on in Rosie's head and the things that happened to her that made her the woman she is today. This book is worth ever penny you pay for it. The only problem is: it is not a very large book, but still very good. Rosie I love you, I love your magazine, you show and the book. Keep up the good work and God Bless You for everything you do.

Summary: BORING
Review: I found this book extremely boring. Rosie jumps from one subject to another in each chapter. She talks about dreams, her childhood and Stacie. I finished it in an hour because I just read about what happend to Stacie. If you're looking for an in-depth profile of Rosie, it's just not here.

Summary: Four stars only because five would be sucking up!
Review: I got this book thinking I was going to learn all about what the famous Rosie O' does while I am not looking at her on TV. I guess I did but in a way I was not expecting. It took courage to tell this story. You will get so swept away reading this little book that you will have it read in the same time it takes you to watch a Rosie re-run. I suggest you do. I know it is fact but when you read it, it feels like fiction. You won't be able to put it down. I am now ashamed I got reeled in by all the hoopla of what I heard the book was about. It's not about that, it's better.

Summary: Great Book!
Review: Truth, the adage goes, is stranger than fiction. In the hands of a natural storyteller like Rosie it is also incredibly moving. I re-read the final chapter just to feel the "spingle", O'Donnell's word for a spine tingle, again.

Summary: o'donnell's 'find me' not a coming out story!!
Review: i initially wanted to read this book because of rosie's recent coming out. i was under the impression that it was just that, her coming out tale. to my surprise it is in fact not a story about coming out at all but an honest account of finding out more about yourself through your past and present events in life. although the story is completely honest, as it is intersting, many parts are anti-climatic, leaving the reader craving to know more. overall a good book about human behaviors and the need to find out who you are.

Summary: didn't like it at all
Review: I thought it was poorly written, and disappointing

Summary: A great book, addicting till the end.
Review: This book was really surprisingly good. Rosie is so honest and open in it, revealing that the "real her" isn't the TV her. The journey that Rosie takes readers on led by a 14 year old girl Stacie is one that is so surprising I couldn't believe what I was reading. The book reveals a lot about Rosie that most people don't know other than her friends and family. I definitely recommend this book, you won't regret it! Hopfully Rosie will keep writing, as the reader is definitely left wanting more by the end.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Interesting, but not compelling
Review: I read this book straight through last night. Rosie shares a lot about her childhood and about raising her own kids, and I found all of that very interesting. But the book revolves around her obsession with Stacie and Stacie's family, and about how gullible Rosie is when she thinks she can "save" someone. If it were me, I would be too embarrassed to tell anyone about how I was duped, much less write a book about it.

If you are already a Rosie fan, you'll enjoy some, if not all, of this book. Otherwise, move on.
