Review: Finally - all the best ideas for children's birthday parties in one book! They are easy, fun, and creative. Birthday's have gotten too "processed" with pre-made items from party stores. These parties give it the real personal touch that children should have for their birthdays. Most of all my kids enjoy planning and creating the parties before they even start! This book makes me look so creative to my kids and their friends (and their Moms!) It's a great gift for anyone with children. I've bought several as Christmas presents.

Review: Finally, a book filled with creative ideas for birthday parties. I like to personalize parties for my 6 and 4 yr old; it used to take hours to think of clever invitations, decorations and games. This book provides ideas for a wide variety of parties from dinosaurs to princesses to pirates and it is complete from the beginning (how to design invitations) to the end (what to put in goody bags). The ideas can be used with many themes. People will think you hired a party consultant. Highly recommend!

Review: Great Book! Sometimes you just need an idea or two for your child's birthday. This book can jump start the party process and the parties described are very inexpensive to execute. My daughter recently had a Pirate Party like the one in the book and it was a smashing success. The children were all smiley and playful the whole time.
I plan to give this book as a Christmas gift to friends and relatives with children.

Review: I am an expecting mom who recently received The Ultimate Birthday Party Book by Susan Baltrus as a gift. It will be such a great resource for us for years to come! It actually has calmed one of our many fears of becoming parents...how in the world will we throw a birthday party every year? This book is full of great creative ideas that seem to make having a child's birthday party an easy and fun thing to do. Everything in the book is so well organized and thought through. There are many different themes, and all the steps are included from unique invitations to thank-yous, not to mention the whole party in between!
I highly recommend this book, and think it makes a special gift for new moms.

It is filled with lots of terrific ideas for putting it all together, including: invitations, activities, cake decorations and favors all tied in to appropriate children's themes. Review: This book provides lots of idea for kids' birthday parties - themes, activities, decorations, cakes, etc. On first glance, I thought it was exactly what I wanted, and indeed, it is a help. But the problem with the book is that with very many of the activities, the children get some sort of prize - a piece of candy, a little toy, etc. And then comes the cake, soda, and goody bag on top of that. I was looking for a book that offered activities which are done for their won sake and not for the reward (also because it costs money to buy all these things). Some of these activities, of course, can be done without the prize at the end. But for many of them, the prize plays a central role, like in the activity involving a lollipop tree.

Review: This book really delivers what it promises -- loads of creative idea for kids' birthday parties(ages 2-12). Easy to put together, low-cost, inventive. And fun. Exactly what I was hoping it would be. The only problem is that there are so many good ideas, it becomes hard to choose! I used to dread throwing birthday parties for my kids-- always wanting to do something great, but not having enough imagination to figure it out myself--, but now I can't wait.
Also, you don't have to be in the USA to make these parties work. They'll work just fine for us here in Norway
