Rating: Summary: Great, Easy Recipes Review: I buy cookbooks to read and if compelling, I will make a recipe or two from it. This one is so compelling that I've made four recipes in the first week of owning it. The introductory chapters on health and eating are informational. The recipes are curious enough that I tried one. It was delicious and now I can't stop. The ingredients are easy to find as well.
Rating: Summary: Great Cookbook! Review: I found this book to great! The recipes are good & nutritious (not bland or boring). I can't believe this is Deepak Chopra's first cookbook. I recommend it to all my friends.

Rating: Summary: Intelligent Food Approach Review: One of my top 2003 cookbook choices is The Chopra Center Cookbook, a smart and intelligent way of looking at food, what you eat, and how you feel. As a TV Consumer Wellness Expert, www.terrawellington.com, I feel the inside lacks design creativity and visual interest, but the wellness and food information is fascinating and useful. Dr. Deepak Chopra and his co-authors talk about how purposely varying food tastes for each meal affects our holistic health, and how our appetite is a key, regulating internal indicator. I have interviewed Dr. Chopra before, in person, and can almost hear his voice in the introduction and first couple of educational chapters. The recipes are simple and easy to follow.
Rating: Summary: Fantastic cookbook Review: This cookbook is great, the recipes are absolutely delicious, but the most important part of this book is the spiritual aspect that goes along with cooking and eating food. Eating is important for all the obvious reasons, but really nourishing yourself is an incredibly important part of living a vital, healthy life. Everything from the type of food we choose, to the way we prepare it, to the mood we create everytime we sit down to eat, affects our life and health. This book is a great guide to cooking some fantastic meals and really showing you the spiritual side of cooking and eating.
