Summary: The Baby Food "Bible"
Review: Truthfully, when I bought this book it was because I was going to MAYBE make some food myself. After reading Ruth's book I am happy to say that I am feeding my baby 100% homemade food.

Ruth tells you in simple terms exactly what to do and includes helpful tip ands shortcuts. It really is easy to make your own food.

I work outside the home 10 hours a day, and with only a few (and I do mean just a few) hours of prep time, I can make and freeze enough food for my baby for a month. Preparing meals takes the same amount of time as opening those baby food jars but I know that if I am giving my baby carrots, he is really getting carrots and only carrots plus he likes everything I feed him because it really tastes good. Have you ever tasted baby food?

Thanks Ruth!

Summary: A Wonderful Way to Feed Baby
Review: Super Baby Food is the most versatile book dealing with how to feed your baby that I've found. Many people realize how important good eating habits are, and that they're formed with the first foods we eat.

It's a great book for healthy, nutritional, whole grain foods, even vegetarian foods. My baby loves the recipes in this book!

Summary: Excellent Book
Review: I recently purchased the Super Baby Food book. It has been wonderful! It has changed the way I feed my family. My baby Colton does not like commercial baby food, (except the sweet stuff) he throws it up-literally. He likes table food, but I didn't feel comfortable feeding him some of the stuff that we eat,and mashed potatoes everyday didn't feel good either, so I purchased the book to try to get some healthy ideas, and learn how to freeze some veggies. Well, after reading the book so much has changed, and amazingly Colton loves the Super Porridge and Yogurt! My only regret is that I didn't have it with my other 2 children (now 4 1/2 and 2)-better late than never!

Summary: Super Baby Food Review
Review: I have used this baby food book every day since my baby took her first bite and it is excellent! I've found very few books that really concentrate on providing babies and toddlers with nutritious, whole grain foods that everyone in the family can enjoy. It is especially good for vegetarian families, but even if your family is not vegetarian, I would recommend it. It is both a great reference book and a wonderful cookbook. You can look things up by food type or age appropriateness - I can't say enough good things about this book.

Summary: THIS BOOK IS GREAT!
Review: My sister told me about this book, and we both bought it. I for one have learned so much from it. I have ear-marked nearly every other page! I have a 6 month old son, and I thought that making baby food would be difficult, but it's not! It's actually fun. And inexpensive. I especially like the index in the back of the book that lists all the different types of fruits/vegetables, and at what age your baby can eat them, how to prepare them, etc. And, Ruth gives great tips on how to freeze and store home made baby food. I'm so glad I got this book, I'm proud to make food for my boy!

Summary: The cover falls off!
Review: We bought the book, cover fell off, sent it back. Got a new book, cover fell off, sent it back. Tried one last time (got it directly from the publisher this time) and guess what! The cover falls off. May be a good book, but this experience has been pretty frustrating.

Summary: Too sectarian
Review: Though this book gives a lot of very helpful information, it is way too vegetarian oriented. As a non vegetarian person, I could not find any regular menu with meat apart on 2 special pages dedicated to meat-eaters... Besides that, I do not like very much Ruth's very self-contented style.

Summary: A Must Have book for mothers of new babies!
Review: I heard about this book on a baby food club that I am a memberof on the internet. I went to the site, liked it, and purchased thebook. It was a great decision. The book has wonderful recipes, ideas, recipes for household cleaners, etc. This book shows you that it is not hard to prepare your baby foods yourself. It is very informative. I feel that any mother who wants the best for her baby should get this book. This book would be a great gift for new parents as well. This book is great for anyone who is on a tight budget.

Summary: Super Baby Food
Review: Super Baby Food is the most helpful book for a child's diet and it's the only one I could find which contains really everything you need to know.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: An absolute must!
Review: Every parent should own this book. It contains more information about how, when, and what to feed your baby than any other book I've found. I couldn't have gotten through my daughter's beginnings with solid foods without it, and I continue to use it now that she's two. Advice like Ruth's may turn around the bad eating habits of America's kids!
