Summary: EVERYONE with kids needs this book!
Review: I originally bought this book for my new baby in order to make my own baby food. I was SO pleased with what is in it! I'm already using it with my first child for all of the craft ideas, homemade cleaning and art products, that the book has already paid for itself and I haven't even had my baby yet! I think this book would make an excellent baby shower gift. It is SO great!

This book has been easy to read and is just CHOCK FULL of great information! I feel that this book is a "must have" for any mom who is truly concerned about what food enters their child's body!

Summary: Super book for my Super Baby
Review: Super Baby Food (by Ruth Yaron) has been an unbelievable help to me as I strive to feed my 6 month old baby healthy, inexpensive food. With the money I am saving on baby food and Drs visits we can go on vacation! It is so much fun preparing homemade food for my daughter.

Summary: A must-have book for feeding your baby
Review: This book is for every parent who wondered "What (and how) do I feed my baby". Specific foods are listed with cooking instructions, nutritional value, and storing & freezing tips. Feeding instructions are also broken down into months of your baby's life with which foods can safely be introduced. The book is packed with useful information such as how to make flour more healthy and how to make "super porridge". Recipes for healthy toddler snacks and meals are also included. I find myself constantly using this section as my kids get older and I'm searching for new recipes. Ruth Yaron also goes beyond food and gives helpful, useful hints on everything from how to make your own dishwashing detergent to how to do arts and crafts with your children. As my children get older, I'm using this wonderful book more. My only criticism is that I tend to feel a bit inadequate reading it...Ruth even makes her own yogurt from live active cultures! This book is truly necessary for anyone wanting to do the right thing for their kids.

Summary: Great book for any new or expectant Mom
Review: I am a first-time mother and I had already found a baby food book at a used book store. I ordered the Super Baby Food Book anyway, just in case it had some additional information. I was absolutely delighted that I did after thumbing though my copy. In addition to all the nutritional information and the extensive appendices, the fun and practical tips for things around the home were interesting to read. A must for all of us who are serious about our babies getting off to a good start.

Summary: SUPER BABY FOOD IS AN EXCELLENT TOOL!
Review: When I first had my daughter Brooklyn, I was buying commercial baby foods. Over time, I was finding there really was not a lot of variety, especially for what you were paying. Deciding to be a stay-home mom, I found that I should take the time and explore some different avenues where food was concerned. This is the first book I came along, and the only one I have looked at since. It has been such a useful tool in helping us save money as well as giving Brooklyn more variety in her diet. After all babies do have taste buds and if you have ever tasted the commercial baby foods, would you really want to eat that all the time?

Summary: Super Baby Food Mommy
Review: I love this book. I thought making my own babyfood would be difficult and time consuming. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it is with the help of this book. Making my own baby food is fun, easy, and cheap. My son loves such a wide variety of foods that can't be found on the shelves of grocery stores in those little jars. I love to watch the expressions on peoples faces when they ask "what kind of food does he eat?" and I reply with a long list of fruits, vegetables, and grains. Not every baby loves avocados, kiwi, and zucchini! I know I am feeding him the best possible food because I make it myself!

The sections on fruits and vegetables is a must have for any cook. I have started to recommend the book to people without children because I have found it so useful. I am so happy I found this book and made my baby a "Super Baby"!

Summary: An Excellent Resource!
Review: This book has served as an amazing resource for my family. Our pediatrician's office gave us very little guidance in the food department. This book gives incredibly detailed information about what foods are ok when, and how to prepare and store every conceivable food. It is a great primer on nutrition for the infant and toddler. It is also full of great ideas and helpful hints. It is simply an EXCELLENT resource. I highly recommend it to everyone with an infant or toddler!

Summary: Super Baby Food
Review: I love this book! I find it such a great resource for both feeding my baby and household shortcuts. Ruth Yaron's tips and techniques for making your own organic baby food is sooo easy and inexpensive to do - that's it's a shame NOT to feed your baby whole foods. A must for everyone with a child to feed.
