Rating: Summary: A revelation of God's promises for conception and childbirth Review: Supernatural Childbirth has been a blessing for me. Having had two miscarriages and only 24 years of age, this book gave me the strength to trust God's word and move on. The scriptures provided in the book revealed God's promises for childbirth. The book allows spiritual growth and an intimate relationship with God concerning his promises of being fruitful and multiplying. This book changed my life and because of it, I can walk in God's healing, knowing, without a doubt, that I will have healthy children. Thank you Jesus! And thank you Jackie Mize for allowing God to use you in the preparation of this book!
Rating: Summary: Supernatural Childbirth Review: The author of this book, Jackie Mize, is my mother-in-law so naturally, I had to read it. And I am so glad I did! I now have a healthy 5-month old son to show for it and I had a truly supernatural pregnancy and childbirth experience. I highly recommend this book to women desiring to have babies God's way! God always has a better way! (...)
Rating: Summary: Supernatural Childbirth was super Review: This book enabled me to have a hassle and complications free pregnancy. My childbirth was not painless, but I was not scared of any of the procedures that the medical personnel put me through (although I knew there was no need for them). I just had the peace of mind that everything was going to be fine. I am definitely looking forward to another chlildbirth without any fear. Thank you

Rating: Summary: Take what you need out of it. Review: This book helped me to realize how fear compounds pain and after reading this book I was determined to have a medication-free childbirth. It also helped me to realize how important it is to rely on God's help through childbirth. Having said this, however, I must also say some other things. I am someone who has accepted Jesus as my personal savior and have a personal relationship with him. BUT I DO NOT THINK THAT EVERYTHING CAN BE HELPED, HEALED ETC. IF IT'S NOT GOD'S WILL AND I DON'T BELIEVE THAT IT'S HIS WILL FOR THIS ALL THE TIME. I DO NOT THINK THAT IF YOU PRAY AND BELIEVE AND STAND FIRM ON BIBLICAL TRUTHS THAT IF THINGS DON'T WORK OUT THE WAY YOU PRAYED FOR THEM TO THAT THIS MAKES YOU LESS OF A BELIEVER OR CHRISTIAN OR WHATEVER. I believe that's what this book is implying. I miscarried my first child and was so messed up emotionally until I got help and after reading this book after my miscarriage it made me feel that if I had prayed harder or believed I wouldn't lose my baby or whatever then it wouldn't have happened. I now can see clearly and know that's "hogwash!" The authors never do come right out and say this is the case but it is implied and I have had several other friends and family who have read this say the same things (and I didn't tell them that's that how I felt). Like I said earlier, I think this book is good for realizing how important it is to have no fear and ask God's help and be relaxed during childbirth. Then I recommend taking hypnobirthing classes or some other form of childbirth education that focuses on deep relaxation and prayer/meditation during childbirth to help out even more. That's what I did and guess what -- I did it all without medication! I did have some pain but part of that was due to her being turned around and back labor but I did it and you can too.
Rating: Summary: Misunderstood Review: This book is so timely and great, I have shared this with two other pregnaant friends. God has given us victory over pain and suffering, we simply have to have faith and walk in this revelation. This book does not imply that women who don't believe hard enough are doomed to long, hard labor experiences. It simply challenges each of us to dare to believe that you can have a different experience than what the world says. I can testify that this book has encouraged me and helped me through a myriad of health issues that practicioners told me of during my pregnancy. This book dared me to believe I was healed and God did the work. I was healed.

Rating: Summary: Supernatural Childbirth Review: This book is wonderful and easy to read. The insight on what our faith in God can do for us can be used in any aspect of our lives, not just childbirth. I just never thought to ask God for easy, pain free childbirth. All the biblical based references assure you that God never intended anything other than a joyeous time when giving birth. We speak and believe we will go through pain, but this law does not exist if you have faith in Christ and the fact that he took all pain and suffering upon himself. Very good reading, even for a non-Christian.
Rating: Summary: Life Changing Review: This book really put things in perspective for me. My husband and I have been married for 8 years, and we have yet to conceive. I have gone through depressions, and even resenting God. But what a blessing this book has been for me. I'm encouraged, and I'm standing on the scriptures that were emphasized( God's promises for our children)in the book, and I know that someday I will be someone's mommy.
Rating: Summary: GREAT BOOK EVEN WHEN YOU GET THE DRUGS!!! Review: This book was quite a blessing to me. I primarily used it to build my faith after being told that my husband and I might have difficulty conceiving. Once pregnant, the book helped me move confidently through the nine months instead of in fear over the baby's health and other possible problems. In January, God answered our prayers giving us a beautiful baby boy!!! I should point out that I did get the epidural but prior to receiving it felt peaceful and relaxed. Overall, I had a wonderful birth experience and can't stop thanking God for our awesome son!
