Summary: We should all be so determined and disciplined!
Review: "I've been lucky, very lucky. In fact, we should all be so lucky," says Kathy Levine. Actually, Kathy Levine sets clear goals and takes action to achieve them. When she makes mistakes, many of which she details in this book, she refuses to be crushed, and gets up and tries again. This was a pleasant read, chatty and truthful, like a letter from a relative you haven't seen in a long while.

Summary: Please, Don't Waste Your Money!!!
Review: Bottom of the barrel as far as autobiographies go. (Only Kelsey Grammer's was worse!!) Does America really care that this two-bit 'celeb' was considering undergoing breast surgery because at 45 she can no longer ace the 'pencil test'? Ugh! Save me from that visual! And her love life! Summertime flings with a boy a generation younger; financially bilked by an Irish gigalo. Is desperate & stupid tattooed under those bangs? The slim volume is one big, "Who cares?" Destined for Remainder Hell as soon as it was printed. The book in neither funny nor enlightening. "Heir apparent" to Erma Bobeck indeed. Please don't confuse this drivel with genuine writing talent. An hour and a half is all it takes to read, so please save your dollars for a quality autobiography. The ultimate appeal is only for QVC addicts, no one else needs to bother.

Summary: Oh Vay!
Review: Even though I find Kathy Levine loud and obnoxious, I checked this book out of the library prior to a long plane ride. This book made the plane ride seem even longer! I practically needed a dictionary right by my side to tell me the meanings of all the foreign words. I think it would do Kathy Levine some good if she looked outside of herself and tried to help others. Her pushy persona comes through in this book and is absolutely nauseating.

Summary: Excellent
Review: I absolutely loved Kathy's second book! After reading her very first book I felt like I had lost a best friend! I couldn't wait until her new collection of stories came out! I wanted to pick up the book and just re-read it again. When her second book was announced I was "on the QVC line" immediately and anticipated it's arrival. Once you begin reading you just can't put it down. Though there is an age difference between us - I'm at least 10 years younger, I could relate to so much of what she wrote - I actually felt as if we were face to face and she was telling her story to me in person. She is so very honest, tells it "as it is" and makes one feel like they are "someone" special in this world that can be so sad and degrading at times. I am already looking forward to her third book and hope some day I can meet her in person. As a honest person to us all, she is so real and true compared to those other celebrities who prance around saying they had this down to themselves and how it makes them feel like a real woman! Let's get real all you Pamela Lee's of the world ... Kathy did what she felt she needed to be done to herself and her life after much, much consideration ... it definately was not a "spur of the moment" decision just because she had the time OR money. It's inside what counts and Kathy definately has that in her! Bravo and best wishes to a wonderful woman, TV personality and inspiration to us all!

Summary: Only a QVC fan could enjoy this.
Review: I bought this book to see what happened to Jeffery Hewson. She mentioned him but I still don't know what happened to him. I really don't like Kathy Levine much and the book just confirmed my original opinon. She loves herself!

Summary: What was she thinking?
Review: I do not understand why Kathy Levine would think there would be a single person who would care about her life. When I saw this book in the bookstore I almost broke out laughing. If you've ever seen Kathy Levine on TV, you know she's a rather rude, pushy, obnoxious woman. If that is what you like, this book will certainly not disappoint -- it is plenty rude and obnoxious. Buy it in the bargain bin for a dollar and give it as a Christmas gift to someone you hate.

Summary: Very, very disappointing book
Review: I would NOT recommed this book. I've followed Kathy for nine years. Read her first book, which was "okay". I ordered "We Should be So Lucky" from QVC. I was so disappointed after reading it, that I sent it back for a refund. I won't be buying anymore books by Kathy Levine.

Summary: Pushiness Personified
Review: Kathy does it again with this book, and in the process thereof manages to maintain her pushy, obnoxious demeanor.

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: Pushy, pushy!
Review: Kathy Levine, the Pushy Diva of QVC, reveals how self-absorbed she really is. This book is absolutely nauseating...makes you want to ask Kathy, "Why are you so pushy!" Read it with the knowledge that Kathy is a materialistic, obnoxious woman, with almost no concern for anybody else.
