Review: I thought this book was very good! I couldn't put it down, but one thing that did bother me is his constant use of name brands. Others have mentioned this, and I noticed it as well. Other than that, I found the book to be very informative and well written.

Review: I saw Dr. West on the Oprah show and I knew I had to buy this book, unlike other books that deal with the same disorder, I found that this was more human, you get to know the characters, feel their pain and anger. I bought the book on my honeymoon and I could not put it down, so that's how good it was

Summary: I liked it but I didn't
Review: This book is only interesting because of the subject. My apologies to Cameron West but he should have gotten someone else to write this book for him as I found his appalling writing constantly distracted me from his tale. However, fair play to him for having the courage to write it in the first place.

Summary: Fascinating and Inspiring!
Review: I bought Dr. West's book after seeing him on Oprah. I have always been fascinated by DID and was just blown away by his story. I was riveted from the first sentence. Oprah said it reads like a novel and she was right. The detail is amazing. At times I felt like I shouldn't be reading such intimate tales; like I was eavesdropping on a private conversation. I applaud Dr. West for having the courage to share his story. He has triumphed in a situation that would have crumbled most people. Although the road was rough, to say the least, he has come to grips with himself and all those that make him who he is. I am in awe of his determination and courage! Dr. West - I wish you peace and happiness and all the best to your family.

Summary: WOW! How inspirational
Review: I bought Cam's book after seeing him on Ophra's Show. I found his story so very touching and surprisingly inspirational.While Cam's story is astounding in and of itself, his ability to recount his journey in writing is equally astonishing in light of his "disability". I highly recommend this book. And if you really like it, get a copy of the Ophra episode where he was the guest.

Review: Dr. West has provided an honest, insightful look into the life of DID. As you read this book, you will find yourself drawn into his story, wanting to savor every word of his experience. What a beautiful man to make himself vulnerable in front of the eyes of others. It is truly wonderful that Dr. West has found a vehicle for healing and sharing his pain, suffering, and ultimate redemption from the disruptive and chaotic world of DID. As you read this book, you will feel like you know him, all 24 of him. In the end, you will feel grateful that a man like this exists in our world today.

Review: This book fascinated me from beginning to end - what positive, fascinating reading. I had great admiration for Cams wife, she dealt with the situation with such sensitivity and determination. I hope Cam and his family will be able to continue with the strength and positive attitude they already show. Talk about turning a negative into a positive.............
