Review: If you are in turmoil and could use some direction...here lies some peace and serenity.

Summary: Interesting but questionable
Review: It is my understanding that Ms. Eade is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormon) as I am. What she talks about is not what the Church teaches. We do not know that we are going to meet 12 men around a kidney shaped table and neither do we preach that the drunk of the street is fullfilling a mission. Some non-Mormons may get some very wrong ideas about what our church believes. We are not taught that prayers are flashes of light that the angels rush to answer. Some of my concerns about this book is that she wrote the book 20 years after this experience that she claimed. A lot of details can be distorted after 20 years. Also, she does not name the city or the hospital or the doctor who was attending her. I saw her in an interview on TV and she refused to give any of that information. She claims when she returned from her NDE that four hours had passed. A hospital would not allow four hours to go by without checking on a post-surgery patient. While it is beautifully written I would recommend readers use caution when reading the book

Summary: Enlightening
Review: After reading this book, I cried myself to sleep. Nothing has touched me as profoundly as this book, and I hope that everyone who reads these words recieves as much from it as I have... To each his own, and my opinion stands- The best novel I have ever read, or will read again.

Summary: A not to be missed reading! It gives a strong life support.
Review: This true experience makes us feel more confident about ourselves, about what is going to happen 'afterwards'. I received a peaceful relief in my heart and tranquility after reading it. Yes, indeed, there is someone that really loves us up there.

Summary: The Nature of our Universe revealed in one book.
Review: Everything in the book is pure fact, because I know many people in my life who have had near death experiences and told me about them. Two years before I read the book myself, a friend of my mother's told her about her NDE. She told my mother about how spirits rolled back clouds and revealed the earth. She also told my mother about lights eminating from the earth, and that these lights were our prayers. I was totally blown away when I read this word-for-word in the novel. Many other of the experiences mentioned in the book, were had by most of my family, and even my best friend. By reading the novel, I am one of the many lucky people to comprehend the nature of God, and the many souls he created. Betty has taught me to love God, rather than fear him. I believe we shouldn't love God as a god, but rather as our father. The book blends science and religion in a way I never thought possible. I now believe that all matter in the universe has intelligence, and that only a being as powerful as God can bend matter to His will. This is why in chemistry, atoms tend to behave as they wish, otherwise, we could create matter from energy. God bless Betty J. Eadie for her knowledge, for it truely transforms the knowledge we have of our existance! Out of all the books that exist, this is truely the only must have.
