Summary: My boyfriend is still my boyfriend thanks to this book.
Review: My summary says it all. I found myself becoming angry about every little thing my boyfriend did, and through this book, came to understand a) why he did the things he did, b)why I reacted the way I did, and c) how those two factors relate. Now, I've learned to change the way I react, and as a result, he's gradually changing the way he acts. He's not even concious that there's been a huge change in the way we relate to each other, but what he does know is that he's happier (and so am I).

Summary: Saved our marriage.. literally
Review: My wife and I divorced in 1995. We were apart for two years. Situations in our life kept bringing us back together to deal with children. Eventually we decided to try to put our marriage back together so we went to Christian counseling. Our counselor had us read this book. Time after time my jaw would drop open while reading. My wife said the same thing. I remember saying, "She isn't crazy afterall. Our differences are normal." Both our eyes were opened allowing us to accept our differences without feeling the other one did not care of love the other. This book along with our desire to do God's will was the basis for our putting our marriage back together. We remarried after 2-1/2 years apart. That was six years ago. I buy this book regularly to give to couples old and young alike. It is a Godsend for a society too quick to divorce and too misunderstanding of one another.

Our counselor had us purchase this book and read it. The wall between us started crumbling. The book along with a deep desire to put our marriage back together has made us both happier with one another than ever. I am in love with my wife. She is in love with me.

Summary: One word, Excellent!!!
Review: This book really opened my eyes not only to my unconscious part I took in destroying my relationships before they even started, but every reader should pay close attention to the chapter on Masculine/feminine confusion which is so prevelant in our society and we all have been affected by it in some way even if we aren't aware of it! This is not to be confused with gender, that's another whole subject within itself. As a studier of Adler, this is an exceptional reference guide to those looking to either repair a broken relationship or to discover their own tendency to misplace blame, or to create the "domino effect" in their relationships.

Summary: You love it or you hate it
Review: This is one of those books that will totally blow you away or make you wish that you had not wasted your energy on. After reading the reveiws I found it easy to relate to the ones that praised the book and the ones that demolished it. There are some chapters that I found amazing and others that I could not finish do to boredom. It is similar to his first book but it does share some new insights that can benefit almost any relationship.When reading this book one must remember that it was not written to just fit there needs it is written to a broad audience.

Review: THIS IS THE PRECURSOR TO MEN ARE FROM MARS. IT IS READ BY THE AUTHOR AND IS VERY WONDERFUL. IT REALLY GOES MORE INDEPTH INTO HIS IDEAS ON THE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN MEN AND WOMEN. I GIVE IT TWO THUMBS UP.

Like, men sometime use their female side's (or women sometime use their male's side) to face everyday problems.
In order to communicate with our soul mate effectively, we must understand which side (male or female) they are in. It's makes you easier to solve and understand their situation.
With real life example, clear expression and simple language. Parents will surely find this book useful. Practicing the ideas is the main issue here.
I believe that this is the best book that John had ever write, even better than his best selling book.
