Summary: YOUR LIFE IS POINTLESS UNLESS YOU HAVE READ THIS BOOK
Review: ...and/or any of Dr. Gray's other books.I succintly refer to him casually as "Mankind's Only Hope." I promise you, I am not exaggerating in the slightest. I will understand any non-readers' doubts until they have read some of Dr. Gray's astoundingly "simple, yet profound" thoughts & observations of the lives of men & women. I too had these doubts when someone first hyped his work to me. But if the man in not a genuine genius, he is as close as anyone ever has to be. He is likely to our age what Sigmund Freud was to his age, and it is likely that his work will stand just as vaunted and everlasting. However, as "Men Are From Mars, Women From Venus" is now the #1 HARD-COVER-BEST-SELLER-OF-ALL-TIME, nonetheless still having sold under 10 million copies -- on a planet of 6 billion people, this is sadly still an incredibly infinitesimal amount. Part of the problem is the book's own astounding validation by millions of readers -- there is no reason for the book, even after 5 years as a hard-cover best-seller, to go into a cheaper paperback version. But this earlier paperback of Dr. Gray's shows much of the consistent simple wisdom that permeates all of his work, and can be had by even greater masses for a fraction of the price today. Please do what you can to recommend it, not just to everyone you know, but everyone you ever meet. I was astounded that I could have lived for over 30 years on this Earth in close proximity to the race of females, and have missed so much -- as I am sure the 50% of Dr. Gray's work in each of his books covering men is similarly a revelation to members of the fairer sex. There are NO human beings who will EVER be born who DO NOT NEED TO READ THIS BOOK. It is essentially a crucial manual for living on Earth. We are astoundingly fortunate that Dr. Gray has written it during our lifetimes, and can instantly benefit from it, even as we sadly lament the casual confusion, chaos and inadvertent destruction to that has, in hindsight, plagued those unfortunates in legions of human interpersonal relationships in the history of humankind who were not lucky enough to be born after this monumental author began his writings.

Summary: Redundant, redundant, redundant
Review: As a class assignment, we were to read a specific John Gray book and present it to the class. I started off by reading "Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus", the orginal book. I must say that I found it very educational and it has helped in my relationship. After reading the first of the series, I was looking forward to reading the "Men, Women, and Relationships" book. The book overall was a letdown. I did find some information helpful but I also found that same information repeated throughout the book. John Gray could've made the book one-third of its length and it would have included all the same lessons in male-female relationships.

Summary: This will open your eyes!
Review: Here is THE BOOK for a couple experiencing problems communicating and expressing their feelings to one another. My lady and I have recently experienced a painful breakup. I then purchased this book and immediately saw some of the reasons why we saw things differently and suffered a communication breakdown. I wish I had read this book a year ago! I could not put it down and read it rapidly. Now, I plan to reread it again slowly. You will get more out of this book than Dr. Grays "Mars/Venus" books and the 100's of other books on relationships between men and women. If you are having problems with your mate SHARE THIS BOOK! Read it yourself first, than read it together. It will open your eyes as to how to give and receive unconditional love. Wish you good luck and good love.

Review: I am not an avid reader, but after what appeared to be the end of a great relationship, I needed somewhere to turn. I read through titles of hundreds of books looking for just the right one; the one that could help me understand what was happening in my relationship and why. As with most women, I was somewhat familiar with Men are from Mars; Women are from Venus, but never read it. I took my time and read the preface to so many books, but this book seemed like it might be "the one". As I began reading, I didn't want to put the book down!! I finished the book within a week (again, not an avid reader, but it was a very easy read) and walked away with an amazing comprehension of my boyfriend and our relationship. I could identify with SO MANY THINGS from this book and relate them to my situation. A month before reading this, my boyfriend became distant and seemed to withdraw from our regular conversations. Since we were so close, I didn't understand what was going on and could only conclude he was no longer interested in me -- he must have found someone else. As I read -- there it was -- the exact situation I was going through explained in black and white with no emotional attachments -- he was having (big) problems at work and as such was focusing his full attention on work.
READ THIS -- MEN AND WOMEN -- to get a better understanding of each other, even if you believe you are exactly the same -- YOU AREN'T! I understand now!!!! THANK YOU!!!

Review: I read this book and my emmediate thought was "damage controll" ,a book to clean up the mess pop-culture and John Gray are already responsible for.The book is just another addition to the ongoing parade of Gray books which lack any new case to present,it reads like the scrambled and re-edited words of all his other books. Making a long story short - John Gray is doing nothing more than selling the same plot under different titles.

Summary: I finally understand men!
Review: I read this book while my boyfriend (now my fiance) and I were taking some time apart. Not only did this book help me to understand and interpret his behavior; it helped me to understand my OWN behavior in relationships. I realized how so often we try to give so much to the other person, but our efforts fall on deaf ears because men and women DO NOT want the same things. This book served as a true epiphany, and I use John's tips everyday in my happy, successful relationship.

Review: If you, or you and your mate, want to get the best out of a relationship, then you should get this book. It not only lets you in on the secrets of the opposite sex, but gives you pratical ways that you can improve your relationships now and in the future. I find it amazing that a man, Dr. John Gray, has such insight into the female mind and isn't afraid to talk freely about male behavior. This is definitely what we all have been looking for to understand the opposite sex and better our relationships
