Summary: I loved this cassette
Review: A friend loaned me this and two other cassettes by Marianne. I've listened to each of them at least 6 times within the last two weeks.Marienne is just a wonderful, gifted, speaker. I love this woman. She touches my heart, and reminds me of the wonderful truth about all of us... that we deserve to be loved... that there is a spirit of Love that has never left us... This tape (two lectures, approximately 30 minutes each) will help you to see beyond the things that you thought stood between you and a more loving relationship with your parents. I give it my highest recommendation. And I don't throw that around lightly, but I don't hold it back when it's deserved....

Review: Marrianne Williamson's work is both real and honest. Rather than couch things in a concepts that are alien or extremely religious, she talks to you about the realities of existing. Of how things will not always be easy, about how you will lose your way, and honestly how to see people clearly. Growth is messy, it's not neat, maturity is not easy, nor is spirtiuality delicate work, but with assistance from a tape like this you can see yourself clearly and how to bridge yourself from concept to human to spiritual being.

Summary: How to use ACIM to Forgive your Parents
Review: This audio came just at the right time for me. It requires a knowlege of A Course in Miracles to follow it well. At some stage we must make the transition from viewing our "parents" as unique and special and viewing them as "just people" who probably (with the benefit of 20/20 hindsight) did the best they could. Marianne Williamson makes the point that they are not our spiritual parents..God is..they simply are our biological parents who gave us the chance to be here. At some point we must change from being the sons and daughters of parents to being adults "just like our parents". Marianne Williamson helps this process

Summary: Miracles Do Happen
Review: This is my favorite piece by Marianne Williamson so far. Not only did I feel a great sense of relief and peace after beginning to forgive my parents and let go of much of the anger and resentment I felt, but I actually felt the universe shift in my favor. For example I began to let go of the resentment I felt towards my mother for not supporting me, and then the strangest thing happened. She began to support me like never before. My universe shifted, and no matter how small it was, it was a miracle. If you are ready for a miracle in your life, listen to or read anything by Marianne Williamson.

Summary: Excellent, Excellent, Excellent!
Review: Upon purchasing this item, I thought, this is probably going to tell me the same thing I have heard thousands of times before..how to "Get over your feelings with being abused." Much to my surprise, this was the one tool that helped me the most in my life! Being in counseling for 8 years of my life for emotional, physical and sexual abuse in my childhood, listeing to this tape helped me more. After listening to the tape for the first time I felt enlightened and more at peace. It explored the specific area in my recovery that I could not figure out how to get past: Forgiving my parents. It helped me understand that they did the best they could and that they themselves as children had lived a childhood like I had. This tape was so inspirational and helped me move forward to a healthier place in my life! The best self-help tool I have ever used!
