Review: this book is great for the novice dressmaker. It provides guidelines for taking accurate body measurements and includes a comprehensive step-by-step guide for drafting patterns for today's modern designs. However, for those of who are totally new to the idea of sewing, you need to buy a book which tells how to piece together the pattern pieces.

Otherwise, it's a great buy!
