Summary: My Mommy Journal
Review: A friend of mine ordered Ms. Wing's journal and shared it with me and I just had to have one! From the adorable title to the clever formatting, my husband and I love it.

Summary: Such A Pleasure To Give
Review: Being as I am not old enough to have children, I love to give this out as shower gifts and such. My friends that are expierencing child birth for the first time love to write down all their expierences. They've told me that it has been such a wonderful blessing to have a journal like this. I just hope that when I have children that I can recieve one as well. :)

Summary: What a neat way to remember your pregnancy!
Review: Butterflies & Hiccups -- the title is so cute. It sums up the feeling that you cannot describe when you are pregnant. The illustrations are beautiful and the prompts are perfect. Very comprehensive and it becomes a great keepsake to share with your children, especially when they get pregnant and have so many questions the first time around. It is the first time I have seen a pregnancy journal that covers every topic you can possibly think of. Thanks!

Summary: Great keepsake!
Review: Butterflies & Hiccups is a beautiful pregnancy journal that covers virtually every topic about pregnancy for you to customize your own experiences during your unique pregnancy. It even acts as a reminder and provides checklists.

What a great keepsake to share with your children in the future when they have so many questions about their own pregnancy! Maya Johansen did a beautiful job with her artwork for Butterflies & Hiccups!

Summary: A must buy! There's nothing out there like this.
Review: I am the owner of Baby Gift Store.com and we couldn't wait to add this wonderful pregnancy journal. I've yet to see anything similar and it is absolutely just beautiful.. both design wise and content wise. Butterflies and Hiccups is just full of intelligent and thought provoking questions to fascillitate the journaling of your pregnancy day by day and month by month. I also love that it has a keepsake pocket built into the font cover to hold any kind of little pregnancy momentos such as pictures of your sonograms. And, it doesn't stop there...it also includes checklists for getting ready for the hospital, tips and suggestions for pregnant moms and places to paste photos. I also love that it is spiral bound to make writing easy. It's so well thought out and will certainly be a forever keepsake. We can't recommmend it enough.

Summary: Good for journaling symptoms of pregnancy only
Review: I bought Butterflies and Hiccups recently and I was really disappointed when it arrived. I am returning it becuase I really didn't want to journal my pregnancy (e.g. symptoms, weight gain, etc.) as much as I wanted to have a journal for my future child to read about our life during the pregnancy, feelings about expecting him/her, etc., and our life before him/her.

Some of the "thought-provoking" questions in the book, such as "Was the conception of the baby memorable? Why or why not?" I thought might be kind of embarrasing for baby to read.

Most of the questions are just about recording the day-to-day symptoms of pregnancy, doctors appointments, weight gain, etc.
and the questions are standard month-to-month.

There is also not much room to write about any of the questions that are interesting. There is an extra blank space at the end of each month, but it really didn't seem like a lot of room to write beyond the standard questions asked each month.

Again, I really didn't want to document for my child the aches and pains of pregnancy -- whether I got stretch marks and how much weight I gained. I do want to include pictures of how big my belly gets (which is a nice feature that they do have in the book), but don't really want to share so many details about the bodily aspects of preganncy.

I was looking for something that does share some of the highlights of the pregnancy (e.g. when I found out, first movements, ultrasound, etc.), but mostly concentrate on feelings and recording our 'story.'

If you are looking for something that really documents the symptoms of pregnancy, doctor's appointments, etc., perhaps for recalling for subsequent pregnancies, then this book would be perfect for you.
Otherwise, I would keep looking.

Summary: A Disappointment
Review: I couldn't wait for my journal to arrive so I could start writing about my first pregancy. I was COMPLETELY disppointed with this journal. The quality is VERY poor. Its looks like something I could have printed out of my own computer. It is very thick and very detailed, but I will be returning it. I am shocked at all the positive reviews I read about this journal. I have now lost faith in the reliability of the reviews. :(

Summary: Good Questions, More Day to Day
Review: I just started the journal and like the questions. I wish there was more space for keepsakes. I do like that they have a place for photos of mom's pregnancy each month to see how one's body is changing, but I was disapointed when there wasn't a space for photos of my baby's ultrasounds, not even one. I also wish there was room for daily thoughts and physical awarenesses. I do like some things about it,like the checklist for the hospital, but next time I think I'll try something different.

Summary: A great book!!
Review: I received this book as a gift from my husband when I was 5 weeks pregnant. Its one of the best pregnancy journals I have seen. Congrats to the author on a wonderful job. I have also gifted this book to a couple of my girlfriends who are pregnant and they love it too. A must have for a mom-to-be.

Summary: I Wish this Book Had Been Available When I Was Pregnant!
Review: I'm Wendy Tuey of ProudBody.com and boy do I wish this book had been available when I was pregnant with my first and only baby. The pages of the book are beautiful and filled with such thought-provoking questions to help one remember all those little things that occurred during pregnancy years later. I have written a letter to my little one trying to recall some of the experiences the book covers, but I know I missed alot!
