Rating: Summary: Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Review: I have Geddes' "Garden" book and never imagined that I would want another of hers -- not because it disappointed me but rather because it is so wonderful. After reading other reviews on "Until Now" I decided to splurge. I could hardly wait to get it out of its delivery wrapping. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. I love this woman's work. The babies are wonders. The poses are wonders. The art of her photography shows me the wonderfulness of life itself. I can't help but be in a more relaxed smiling place after going through this book. Buy it! Do yourself a favor. Buy it! (Give it as a gift to someone you love!)

Rating: Summary: Breath Taking Review: I received this book as a birthday gift. Being a mom of a 2 1/2 year old and one on the way made feel how lucky I am to be a mother of one of God's spectacular creations. I think this book is for the young and old of all ages. You can't help but fall in love with each child as you turn the page. Anne is truly a talented artist to be able to create such beauty and wonder with our children. Anyone who receives this book will absolutely fall in love with their children all over again no matter how old they are. It brings back such great memories.
Rating: Summary: Beautiful Babies (but beware of adult nudity)! Review: I received this book for Christmas from my best friend who knows I love babies. As usual, Ms. Geddes evokes a spectrum of emotions. I am in awe of her ability to capture the innocence of babies. I am sure she is the very image of patience on photo shoots with these precious little ones. Ms. Geddes' love of babies shines through in this collection.I am, however, uncomfortable viewing pictures with nude female body parts in mixed company (example: the pictures entitled Full Term, Mary and Charlotte). I wish there were some warning about these pictures posted before one turns the page. Such pictures of nude adults and children aren't enough to make me regret receiving the book but I definitely could have done without them (as interesting and artsy as they are). I also find a few of the children to be too old for their poses (example: the pictures entitled Sunflowers & Zac and Georgina). Overall, this collection has some very touching and insightful photos and I would recommend it (with the reservations listed above) to anyone who loves babies.
Rating: Summary: Loved the babies not the nudity Review: I received this from my husband as a Christmas present. I love the pictures of the babies, they are beautiful and amazing. I was surprised by the nudity in it and was a bit uncomfortable with it- no matter how "natural" and innocent it may be. My 9 yr. old daughter was looking at with me and was a bit embarrassed by some of the photos. I know that the picture of the 2 & 4 yr. old kissing was to be cute and innocent, but they were naked. And the 4 children naked in mud was very different but a bit disturbing. In these days with children being exploited we need to be especially careful with childrens photos. It would be great if somehow that could be mentioned in the desciption of the book to make a more informed purchase. I will be sending the book back and replacing it with on of her other books, because I do love the baby photos.
Rating: Summary: A book for all ages Review: I recieved this book as a gift. I love children, I believe they are our greatest asset, so does Anne Geddes. The natural poses, the ability to catch innocence at its best is amazing. My teenagers loved the book and so did their older grandparents. The pictures will stir a number of emotions from tears to smiles. It brought back many memories of my children as infants. This book is an outstanding investment for someone you love or anyone one who loves children.
Rating: Summary: I laugh and I cry every time I open this book... Review: I was first introduced to Anne's work by a co-worker who has one of her calendars. I was truly delighted to find her book "Until Now". It awakens wonderful emotions in me that I sometimes 'forget' in the hustle and bustle of my every day life. The color photos are usually the source for my giddiness (the 'large' baby with the sharpei puppy is priceless)...the black and white photos (especially the infants sleeping in adult hands) truly move me to tears. Thank you, Anne.
Rating: Summary: Everything I hoped for Review: I was very pleased with the pictures, but the part of the book I enjoyed most were the last pages of the book where Anne has duplicated all the pictures in the book in miniture and under each picture she writes about how the picture came about. It was facinating, and wonderful to learn "How'd they do that" from the person who did.
Rating: Summary: A very nice gift book Review: I you like babies and Photography, this book is for you. Really superb photos of babies, very carefully produced. Really nice description of each photo. Every detail is well done. Excellent edition of hard cover. Very good quality. An excellent book to give as a gift.
Rating: Summary: Anne Geddes must be an angel herself...or a magician! Review: In a recent interview, Ms Geddes said that her pictures of new-borns and older babies are 99.99% un-computer-inhanced! How can that be?! She must truly be an angel herself...or a magician, or both :-)
