Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Has highs and lows...
Review: The author obviously knows much about the subject matter. The book is full of definitions and charts that making deciphering weather reports easier. This book is definitely a good reference.

While the book contains a wealth of data, I find the author's writing extremely difficult to follow. The sentences are short and choppy, the paragraphs lack flow, and there are many typographical errors. While the book is lengthy, the author attempts to impart too much information on the readers with too few words. This results in a disservice to the readers and a book that could have been much better than it is.
