Summary: The best of the West.
Review: I teach wild edible plants and I think this book is one of the best for the West. It is an identification book, not a cookbook.It falls short on color pictures but has good line drawings.

It compares with Field Guide to Edible Wild Plants: Eastern and Central North America; by Lee Peterson; for the east. However it does not have all the graphic symbols of Peterson's book. (the best of the East)
