Summary: The right switch
Review: Because the school's remotes disappear in the blink of an eye, I've had to invest in personal, inexpensive universal models (I also like to put a number of remotes in students' hands while "reading" a film). So far, this Zenith has proven faster to set up and more compatible with overheads, VCR's, and DVD's than comparably priced units made by Sony, RCA-GE, and All-In-One (with some of these switches I couldn't establish any sort of communication with any of the media devices in the classroom).

One caveat: the buttons are tiny and user-unfriendly (to their teacher more than his students). The better bets are the Zeniths in the "ZEN" 300 and 400 series which, for the same price, had larger, more logical, glow-in-the dark buttons. Unfortunately, Zenith must have found a cheaper Asian manufacturer because Amazon is claiming the pictured ZN models have superseded the ZEN models, which are no longer available.
