Review: Yes, it really is broke. I'm looking for something right now and it's not going to be yet another RCS remote. They're great when they work - having said that, this is the 5th unit thats died. However, before giving up, do follow the 'programming procedure' afer changing batteries; that's necessary every time you change batteries (you'll change batteries a couple of times before having to buy another one).
