Summary: Great primary source of medieval women's history.
Review: Hear it from the women themselves. This book explains the multitude of jobs women did in the Middle Ages, inside and outside of the home. Having perceived the Middle Ages as a time of little opportunity, I was surprised at the 'opportunities' some women were afforded.
