Review: As a former student, I used the first draft of Dr. Hopper's book in his Grammar course. I learned more about grammar in 15 weeks than I had in all my previous courses combined. As a technical writer and editor, I have collected several grammar books, but none is as comprehensive, comprehensible, or enjoyable to read as Dr. Hopper's.

Review: I bought this book for a grammar course taught by its author. The book is marvelous: comprehensive, informative, and fun. I still use it when grammar questions arise in my life, and it remains one of my favorite grad-school relics.
