Rating: Summary: Same book, just another edition Review: I count among my pleasures the enjoyment of classic 1950's and 1960's sitcoms, with Bewitched being my favorite. This book is a lenghthy treatise on the show, but really doesn't say a whole lot. Much of the information is repeated throughout the book. There is a discussion about the start of the series, and discussion of episodes and the stars. There is also a section of trivia information that I wished had been longer, but for the most part, this book is mildly entertaining. The episode guide takes up most of the pages in the book, about which if you're a fan you know already and if you're just a casual reader, you couldn't care less. There are also short cast and crew biographies but this is overdone. Who cares about each and every little person that seemed to just pass by the Bewitched set? It is said that the author was "friends" with Elizabeth Montgomery, but her contributions are few and far between. Bill Asher's contributions are nice. With the upcoming Bewitched movie, it is clear to see that this was reissued to make some hay from that release. If you have a previous version, don't bother. If you get it as a fan, don't expect great things.
