I feel qualified to say this after reading dozens and dozens of articles and books for the purpose of completing my dissertation on Action Learning. Robert Dilworth and Verna Willis have written a book that shines like a lighthouse through the fog of literature on this elusive subject and I am personally very grateful for their contribution.

Summary: Practical tips - real world applicability
Review: Boiling down all the information about action learning into useful action steps is difficult. Dilworth and Willis managed to accomplish that task, however. The book strikes a balance between prevailing thought / theories and examples of real world application. The language is a bit academic at times; take the time to read the book, though. It's worth the effort.
