Review: Then this is it, kind of an in between John Muir Idiot guide and the official Bentely service manual. Great for the do-it-yourselfer or someone just wanting to understand a little more about their car, Not good if you are planning on rebuilding your first engine but more than good enough if you want to do a tune up, trouble shoot and engine problem, do your brakes, pictures actually are realistic and depict an average condition 30 year old greasy vw bug.

I'm NOT a Mechanic and I hate to get My hands dirty... but I love reading this book.... It is full of Information about how Your Volkswagen works and how to fix - or what to fix, if You happen to have a problem... I can't recommend this book too highly... and I own many VW manuals.. and a 1968 Auto Beetle
