Summary: I love this book!
Review: I am a new high school history teacher, and this book has been invaluable to me. Using Breaking Away from the Text Book, and a bit of creativity I was able to come up with lessons that were productive, educational, and fun! My students were able to be active and enjoy history. I came to the site looking for a World History edition! None yet, but I keep hoping!

Summary: Breaking Away From the Textbook
Review: I purchased this book several years ago. I used it quite often to come up with lesson ideas to teach specific historical concepts. This book is especially useful if you use portfolios or authentic assessment.I lent my book out to a fellow teacher and it was never returned. Thus, the reason for attempting to obtain a new copy.
