Review: The books subject is a fascinating topic. Going to far away lands and meeting exotic women is very appealing to a lot of guys. Makow, who is frustrated by what he calls the sex wars at home, travels to the Phillipines to find a bride. Long story short it turns out to be a disaster.

What I enjoyed most about the book was the thought process the author goes through. It shows how his desperation for love and affection causes him to engage in irrational behavior.

Overrall this book is an entertaining quick read and I suppose it can serve as a cautionary tale of what being desperate and pathetic can lead to.

Review: The information that I have received from this book is eye-opening indeed! It is more of a "Not to do" than a "To do" book. He hit the target of what was and continues to plague western civilization during the past 3 decades. I am already married to a Filipina myself and hope not to make the same mistakes that he made! I even bought her a copy as well. ITS A GREAT WORK INDEED!!!
