Summary: Waste of time and money
Review: After reading a few pages, I had to stop. The authors are very subjective and many of these so-called "facts" aren't even that. And of course they bitterly try to redirect the blame to a former President. Sure, they can fool the ignorant and narrow-minded, but not a well-informed person. Thank God the bookstore let me return it because it's garbage!!!

Summary: One Slanted View of the World
Review: As several authors in recent years, Ruddy et al. takes a view point pandering to fifty percent of the public -- the ones that are affluent and conservative. The ones that believe anything good that happened was thanks to the Conservative congress and everything bad was a Clinton policy mistake. The truth is really in between. But it would be loath to give Clinton any credit. Why? Well, authors write to sell books keeping in mind their segments and this one clearly panders to views held by at least 50% of Americans. As long as the reader reads with those colored glasses, this makes an amuzing read. From conservative standards however, it is a bit of a dissappointed (the vitriolic attacks and the passion is missing)

Summary: I think Clinton was a lousy President
Review: As someone who lost loved ones in 911, it makes me sick to think that this could have been prevented IF ONLY Clinton would have acted and been available during his term as Commander and Chief. I am also getting sick and tired of hearing what the Clinto Administration did for the US economy during the 90's. Clinton only rode the momentum created by G. Bush Sr. and the technology boom. Even Gerald Ford or Jimmy Carter would have looked great had they been in office circa 1992-2000.More to the point, look what happened to the American economy starting back in 1999 thanks to the leadership of this President!Like I said, Clinton was a lousy President.

Summary: Ever heard of a Bibliography???
Review: I am a historian and someone who blows off this much steam without tons of sources is just ranting.

So ends the lesson.

Summary: FUNNIEST PIECE OF SELF-PUBLISHED FICTION EVER
Review: Once again, some hack writer with an ultraconservative rightwing blame Clinton for everything agenda, tries to use anything but facts to make his story. Nothing he says can actually be verified. I had to keep putting this down as I became vexed as to whether laugh, cry or just get angry that a great portion of the population hates Clinton so much they are willing to read swill such as this and take it as truth which is as far from reality as the sun is from the Earth.
Typical rightwing nutcase. Can't tell the truth so just make up "facts" and play on emotions rather than intellect. How in the world did Ruddy ever make anyone's top list as a writer. What a hack. The book is an idiots delight. Whoops I mean a republican's delight.

Summary: One of several good books about the Clinton travesty
Review: One might debate what Clinton's biggest sin was while he was president. It wasn't oral sex with Monica Lewinsky. That was minor compared to other things he legislated/endorsed/corrupted or neglected to do while he was in office. But the revelations of his failure to do anything about Bin Laden when it was already known that this man was an avowed enemy of the US, with connections to several terrorist actions (the earlier WTC bombing, the embassy bombings in Africa), may prove to be Clinton's greatest shame.
Slick Willy was recorded on tape admitting to letting Bin Laden slip from his grasp when both the Sudanese goverment and the Saudis offered to hand him over. Yet stupid liberal Clinton-worshipers still deny Bill could have done anything about Bin Laden or al Qaida. Instead, Clinton diverted military action to Bosnia, bombing the Serbs and coddling the Muslims, with absolutely no national security benefit for America.

Summary: More mudslinging
Review: The fact that Christopher Ruddy is a featured columnist for NewsMax should tell you something about the objectivity of his investigative journalism. This book hardly warrants a star for its sensational allegations which have no merit. Richard Clarke has shown in great detail in his book Against All Enemies that Clinton did most everything he could to curb terrorism while he was in office. It was George W. Bush who let the guard down when he assumed office in January 2001, unwilling to accept that al Qaeda represented a threat on American soil. It is too bad there isn't a truth in investigative journalism commission to challenge books such as these, keeping them from sullying the shelves of well-respected bookstores.

Summary: A primer for the Hillary Administration
Review: The reviews I've read about this book here are blinded by ideology. These are the folks looking forward to Hillary running in 2008. How naive can people be??

Clinton ran the show for eight years, and he's not responsible anything?? Want to know how 9/11 was actually allowed to happen?? Read pages 129 - 131. I'd read many times, from many different sources and around the time the event was actually occurring, that Mr. and Mrs. President Clinton had turned the FBI into their own politically correct investigative organization - protecting the Clintons and intimidating citizens. Something of which this book reminds the reader. Not a bad strategy really. Then, just take the guns out of the hands of law-abiding citizens, turning its citizens into a defenseless electorate and then see how much intimidating will take place. 1933 Germany ring any bells??

In all, a good read, despite the head-in-the-sand denials.

Summary: FUNNIEST PIECE OF SELF-PUBLISHED FICTION EVER
Review: This book does not even deserve one star since it was published merely as a means to continue the right wing hate campaign against our last elected President, William Jefferson Clinton. The Clinton legacy has already been written and it was eight years of peace, prosperity and progress. No President in American history made terrorism such a focus of his attention and as a result President Clinton established the nation's first anti-terrorism policy and prevented numerous attacks. No man in the White House ever focused as much attention on his national security duties as did President William Jefferson Clinton.

Don't waste a cent on this trash that is not based on any factual information. Newsmax has a well earned reputation for total disregard for truth and they have now extended it to self-published books. The beauty of self-published books is that there is no editorial review or fact-checking process prior to publication so outrageous claims can be published.

Only the ill-informed and uneducated would believe the ridiculous assertions made in this work of fiction.
