Summary: Lacks in comparison to other books I've seen.
Review: This book is good for the person just getting interested in homebuilding who has done no research at all. I'm researching my first homebuilt and I felt more knowledgeable than the author in some cases and about one particular model altogether. It does not appear he has done his homework, and his information is outdated. I have also read Ron Wanttaja'a Kitplace Construction and can strongly recommend that.

Summary: Great Intro!
Review: This book provides a great introduction to anyone who is thinking they might like to build a experimental aircraft. Some of the aircraft data is getting dated, but his info on the real cost of building and owning is a good eye-opener for those that only want to build to save money. A good starting point for the first timer, before they begin investing in more "in depth" books relative to a specific project.

Summary: Great book with unique information
Review: This is a very useful book which presents objective views on what many different homebuilt aircraft are actually like to fly. It was the inspiration for my homebuilt aircraft website... And if you're thinking of building something, it's really fun to read!
