He covers backdrops, flats, partial and fully modeled buildings in a way that makes complete sense thanks to some excellent writing, fine photography and diagrams. The graphics and photos are new looking, unlike those in some books that look like reprints of something produced in 1953. Also covered well are how to create realistic street scenes, building foundations, sidewalks and streets. You won't walk away from this one feeling like you've read it all before. You'll find this book unbeatable if you're a novice cityscape modeler like me or an accomplished modeler.
