Review: A wonderful coffee-table picture book, this glossy photo-essay on the world of seagoing flight will go well in the collection of any pilot, plane nut, or weekend warrior. It's full of "National Geographic"-style photos, well composed and lovely to look at, of the shark-finned mounts of America's nautical knights of the sky. It's not the greatest ever; it lacks the gritty "you are there" reality of C.J. Heatly's "The Cutting Edge," (who, after all, really was a carrier pilot), but certainly does an acceptable job.
