Rating: Summary: Very touching and hard to stop reading. Review: The intimate style of this book is very moving. Elva Trevi?o, a migrant, took a self-image in childhood that affected her as an adult. Fortunately, she analyzed her past and found her path in life. By doing so, she became a happier and more valuable citizen. It seems to be of global importance to improve the self-esteem of migrants and to help them relate their true-selves and cultural backgrounds to the different society they live in. Speaking perfect English was not enough... Little Elva?s bare heart needed a smooth transition.
