Rating: Summary: This book is a deterrent to divorce if I ever read one! Review: Ted Knight's book is a war manual, and, as such, a deterrent to war. It should be required reading for men who are thinking about trashing their wives. Jesus of Nazareth once said (I paraphrase Luke 14:31): "If a warrior finds himself up against a stronger foe, then let him quickly sue for peace." Heed that advice, guys; a woman with this book in her hands will have your head on a platter!
Rating: Summary: Beat Him -- Financially and Emotionally Review: Ted Knight's book is a wonderful resource and gives such valuable insight on the 'Right' things to do before, during, and after a divorce. Every woman involved in a separation or a divorce should read this to bring order, understanding, and organization to the chaos and devastation of a marriage gone bad.
Rating: Summary: Overpriced Drivel Review: There is NOTHING in this book that cannot be found on the internet. It's quiet skimpy and if you have a good lawyer, all the good and appropriate advice given is presented to you by your attorney. Also, the author advises techniques that would be considered harrassment in a court of law (copying letters from your ex and sending them to family and friends!)Yikes...I'm sure a judge would love hearing about that one. Save your money.
Rating: Summary: A Must Have for Every Woman! Review: To paraphrase Mr. Knight on page 39, of this book. I especially found it rather interesting, that in one particular situation, the future X to be, was crying "wolf!" Where finances were concerned. The wife, therefore, hired a "forensic accountant." As it turned out, the future X, had purchased a $400,000 home, with which he planned to live with his new 22 year old, wife to be! The wife, in this case, acquried considerable leverage by the court. Which made the cost of the forensic accountant, worthwhile! This book, is well written, and easy reading. You won't need a translator, to help you deceifer, it's meaning.
