Summary: Brilliant... but what can you expect from CS Lewis?
Review: These books date back to my childhood and still haunt me. My parents read them to me from the time I was able to sit still and listen... and I've been reading them ever since I've been able to read. They are the most incredible works of fiction, next to J.R.R. Tolkien, that I've ever read. They transport you to a world of total imagination... yet the symbolic strains throughout the series are unmistakable. It's a "story within a story" that appeals to adults, not to kids and really makes it relevant to any age. Timeless stories like these are hard to come by.

Summary: I love this series!
Review: The "Chronicals of Narnia" are a series of books about children who find magical passages into another world called Narnia. C. S. Lewis writes about wonderful characters that most writers couldn't make seem at all realistic or lovable. I especially love parts with Aslan in them, the way he describes the lion literally makes your heart beat faster. I could never say enough about these great books!

Summary: A perfect witness, this book is the story of Christianity
Review: Boy, what a writer, he tells an incredible story of a land with a lion, sons of adam, and daughters of eve, creation, sin, service, evil vs. good, the lion dying for Edmund, all similarities to the Christian faith. Jesus died for you, to save you from your sins. Aslan died for Edmund, Aslan didn't fall for the White Witch's Turkish Delights, but because Aslan loved Edmund so much he was willing to endure death for him. Jesus loves you and if you merely believe in him as your saviour you will be in Heaven come judgement day. Repent of your sinful ways, and ask Jesus into your heart today.

Summary: An interesting and excellent story
Review: The Magician's Nephew is a great story, I can honestly say that this is one of the best books I've ever read. I liked this book because it's full of magic and adventure.Luckily I've been reading this books since third grade. These narnia stories are wonderful, I might have already read them, But I read them over and over again. I hadn't read The Magician's Nephew before, I wasn't dissapointed though I enjoyed the book just like I always enjoy them and I am lookinng forward to reading other Narnia books that I haven't read.

Summary: It's a memory I will cherish till I can remember no more
Review: I too first heard of these books almost 30 yrs ago in my 4th grade teacher read "The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe" to us in class. Each time I am sad about something I read this wonderful collection. There will never be another set of books that has moved me or given me so much peace inside, when the world around us seems so dismal. Narnia has become my "safe-haven" and Aslan my friend. This is definately a must read for ANY age, young or old.

Summary: EXCELLENT READING--AT ANY AGE
Review: Believe it or not, I wasn't introduced to "The Chronicles of Narnia" until I was in college. One of my professors read from it during our art class. I read them and was entranced. I loved them so much that I read them over and over--and I wasn't the only one. All my classmates had the same reaction. "Have you read 'The Chronicles of Narnia yet?'" prefaced every conversation for months. I even picked the series for my book-illustration project. C.S. Lewis creates a magical, secret world in which a reader can lose himself. It is the unique passage of time in Narnia that makes the stories seem so chillingly "real." If you have even vague memories of childhood, you'll love this series.

I gave my old boxed set to my nephews, who loved them, too. Now I'm introducing them to my nieces. If you've never read this set of books, I recommend that you read them now--"grownups" included.

Summary: Amazing
Review: This has to be one of the greatest fantasy fiction series of all times, captivating both children and young people all over the world. Even though I hardly classify as young anymore, if I had to choose my all time favourites, regardless of subject, these would be it

Summary: These Books Are Fantastic!
Review: The Chronicals of Narnia are some of the best books I have ever read. (And believe me, I've read a lot.) Although all of C.S. Lewis's books are excellent, the Narnia books are my favorite because, no matter how old you are you can still read them and/or enjoy listening to them, where as with some of C.S. Lewis's other books, they are harder for some kids to follow.

Summary: Adventurous!
Review: I loved the way the books were told. The description was fascinating. I could see the story in my mind! I loved Aslan. He was my favorite character. I loved the way they described him. I wish that they would have never quit writing these books- I could never put them down! My favorite book was The Lion, The Witch, And The Wardrobe though, I really liked how The Magician's Nephew was told- How Narnia was formed. But I'm not really sure I understand this one question- Was the White Witch the same witch as the one in The Magician's Nephew? I also liked Reppicheep the Mouse because he was so brave. I've never read any book I've had twice but I feel that I'm going to read these books again many times in the near and far away future!
