Rating: Summary: THE PAGES ARE ALREADY WORN! Review: This book has been a wonderful and valuable tool for me. I am a single woman and have always dreamed of being able to travel and live in an RV. Carol's book has given me everything I need to know to get started, from the kind of clothing I will need to how to keep things in the cupboards from falling on my head after a period of traveling. I have taken the book with me to RV dealers, department stores and RV stores. The pages are already worn from use. I recommend this book to anyone who is even thinking about getting started.
Rating: Summary: Great Book Review: This book is great for anyone that is planning on living in their rv full time. It will let you know just what to do & expect.

Rating: Summary: A most helpful and entertaining book to read Review: This book will be has been most helpful to us. We are keeping this book near us while we prepare to take our first trip as part time rvers. Some of the shopping tips have already saved space both in our trailer and in our small apartment. People who live in small places would be well to buy this book. Thank you
Rating: Summary: The weakest book in this category Review: This is a disorganized collection of common sense suggestions that you would figure out on your first camping trip. I would think it might be of value to reduce the anxiety of someone who had never gone out in an RV before, but its treatment of the subject matter is about as deep as a Reader's Digest vignette. I have nearly every title in this category (except the Dummies book) and this one is my only disappointment.

Rating: Summary: Extremely Helpful Review: This is a great book for fulltime, sometimes, or someday RV'ers. It's full of great tips and information. It's a "must have" for any RV'er.
Rating: Summary: Don't pass this book by! Review: This was the first book and the BEST book I bought on RV life. Carol Ray writes as if she were your best friend speaking with truth and honesty. Her advice on picking a dealer and dealing with him on your RV sat inside my head while working on my order. I wasn't afraid to ask for more, to ask for different, to ask and ask again. And I got all I asked for, got all those EXTRAS and I walked away from the table the winner. My trailer is coming fully loaded and I'm not paying a penny more then the original asking price. My husband said not a word at the table...just listened as I went down my list of wants and needs. Which I would not have had had I not taken the time to read Ms. Ray's book not once, but twice! I found the book easy to read, so I read it again to make sure I got everything she wrote and spoke about inside me. Ms. Ray saved me over $2000.00 in extras and because of that my life on the road will be much smoother to get used to. Thank you Ms. Ray for taking the time to share your ideas, and to do the research you did.
Rating: Summary: The "Newbies" Review: Upon receiving this book by Carol Ray, my husband and I immediately opened it with much enthusiasm. We couldn't put it down knowing full well we were onto the next adventure in our lives. It was so plainly written that even "we" could understand it. Being in the airline business, my husband a pilot and me a flight attendant, we are so looking forward to seeing the US by driving instead of at 35,000 ft. We feel that we are fairly educated and whoever didn't like this book, must not really be interested in RVing. When we went to do negotiations at the dealership, I had highlighted quite a few things. As I told the salesperson, "I've been doing my homework," of which they all replied, "Oh, not another one." I took that as a compliment to myself as well as to Carol. To make a long story a little shorter, we walked out of the dealership with a bare bones price of 60,000, getting everything and every option available but a w/d, that we will install later, for 45,500. WE THANK YOU CAROL. Don and Ann Fogal aka FOGAL"S FIVER
