Rating: Summary: Great coffee-table book Review: A great book which covers history of BMW cars, very specific technical details and troubleshooting, informative message posts, and very amusing comics. A very appropriate title. I wouldn't buy this as a service manual (though it does have some great tips, see the Bentley service manual if you need a great tech. manual). An excellent book which I am still enjoying.
Rating: Summary: BMW-316 1985 year OILSERVICE Review: BMW-316 1985 year OILSERVICE RESE
Rating: Summary: Book for old BMW's Review: Forget this book unless you own a pre 2000 BMW. Most, if not all, of the information provided can be found on the web. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.
Rating: Summary: Excellent book, by BMW enthusiass for all auto enthusiasts. Review: This book is a collection of articles written for the BMW Car Club of America magazine. It answers many questions about driving and maintanence of BMW automobiles. Much of the information should be of interest to anyone who enjoys a fine car and driving though, not just the BMW owner. It is full of many interesting topics.
Rating: Summary: Great book Review: This book just radiates quality. There is a lot of very useful information in this book that can be applied to any car, not just BMWs. For instance, there is a great article that explains torque and how important it is for the acceleration of a car. There is also a collection of articles on tires and how changing their size affects your car greatly. Of course, there are a lot of articles pertaining to specific BMW models too. I don't even own a BMW (I want an E24) and I own this book, that's how good it is.

Rating: Summary: Good for "old school" Review: This is a well established book with a very credible track record, however, it is misleading having the hood of a BMW E36 on the cover. The E36 is a modern BMW by all standards; this book has about three two-paragraph articles on that car while all the other stories and pages pertain to the E30 (1983-1992) and earlier cars. If you are the owner or if you are fascinated with how to work on cars older than 15 years, this book is for you.
