Rating: Summary: Not as good as I had thought Review: I thought this was a great book until I cross-referenced the other verbs in the back of the book. The pages listed for the model verbs are not all acurate. In fact most are very misplaced. The 501 verbs are correct as far as I know but the others in the book can be misleading. I am now having to cross-reference these verbs with a verb conjugator. I am not saying that this book hasn't been helpful. It is helpful in leaning many of the basic Spanish verbs, especially the irregular ones, but after 501, you are kind of own your own.
Rating: Summary: It's a great book, but don't abuse it Review: I loved this book. I had it with me during my year-long exchange in Mexico and it really did help me out in the beginning before I got the language down. It's just so complete! It has almost everything! The only warning that I may offer is that this book is so good and so comprehensive that those studying Spanish may refer to it too much and use it as a crutch instead of actually learning the verb forms themselves. I definitely recommend this book to anyone wanting to know more about Spanish verb forms. Es muy util, lo recomiendo para todos!
Rating: Summary: better than 301 Review: This won't fit in your bag. This book is more helpful than 301. It has some verb quizes in the rear. What a needed tool for any series student of spanish. Muy bueno !
Rating: Summary: 501 Spanish Verbs Review: I was so impressed with this book I felt compelled to write a review. Of all the books I purchased to help me with the spanish language, this is the most benefical! I use it constantly. If you are trying to master the Spanish language "501 Spanish Verbs" is essential. Frankly, I don't know how I managed without it.
Rating: Summary: Best Book Around Review: This book is a lifesaver. I'm taking spanish at my college and i use it at least 5 times every class period. It's setup as one verb on each page and giving you every type of conjugation. This is the best book you can possibly buy if you are learning spanish.
Rating: Summary: Should be required for all Spanish students Review: I am now on my second copy of this great book. My first completely wore out after the first year. If you are serous about learning Spanish, this book needs to be on your desk. Easy to read and understand, the information is well organized and is valuable beyond description.
Rating: Summary: A godsend, for sure. Review: For any level Spanish student, for any Spanish teacher, no doubt this book is your bible! In fact, any '501 [language] Verbs' is a must for us language learners.
Rating: Summary: A necessity for all Spanish students! Review: This is an EXCELLENT book. I bought this book during my first year of Spanish lessons at the recommendation of my Spanish teacher. It is well-organized, easy to understand, and thorough in its coverage and explanations of the different verbs and their tenses. Each verb featured has its own page and at the bottom of each page there are some popular phrases and expressions listed to show other possible ways to use the featured verb. I also like this book because there are quizzes at the back of the book to test your knowledge of the different tenses. A short dictionary is included in the back--a "survival" dictionary for travelers, but useful for students, too. I know it was for me!
Rating: Summary: THIS BOOK IS AWESOME Review: Whether you are in high school, or you are just reviewing the structure of verb conjugations, this book is for you. It is concise, and has a great review in the back of the book. I purchased this book about 3 months ago and it has been the best resource for verb structures that I have ever seen. At the bottom of each page, there are other examples of related words for the verb.Buena suerta con el estudio de espanol:)
Rating: Summary: Great for Spanish students Review: This book is really great for Spanish students like myself. I always have it next to me when doing my Spanish homework for the irregular verbs I have trouble with and the horrible subjunctive and imperfect subjunctive tenses. Besides the 501 verbs, it has 1,001 in the back of the book with English translations and the page number of verbs that are conjugated similarly. Also, on the bottom of each page, it has useful expressions with the verb on that particular page which sometimes aren't taught in Spanish class.
