Summary: Excellent Read! Could not put it down!
Review: Another entertaining and educational book by Ann Coulter. I found myself unable to put this book down until I completely finished it. Ms. Coulter makes some facinating observations. I have to agree with her that the only patriotic liberal is Tony Blair, and he is in England!!! The definition of patriotic is "Feeling, expressing, or inspired by love for one's country", and how many liberals do you see doing this? How many feel love for this country? Sure, it is fine for the liberals to say that Bin Laden was "justified" to attack us on 9-11 because we have poked him too much. But I find it interesting that the liberals can tell us we have to understand and respect the beliefs of terrorists of the Middle East, yet they can not understand and respect the beliefs of our president! Why is it understandable that a man would like to kill 3000 people who have never hurt him, yet to try to stop a terrorist from killing hundreds of thousands of people is wrong?

Ann Coulter nailed the liberal attitude in her book. It is really great fun to read.

Summary: Doesn't go Far Enough
Review: "Treason" just might be one of the most important books ever published. Finally intellectual conservatives have gained enough credibility for the ultra liberal NYC publishing industry to publish a book which directly exposes and then attacks the treasonous liberal soul. Prayerfully there is much more to come. "Treason" deals mostly with how the liberal affinity for big gov't led liberals to spy for, or support those who spied for, the big gov't of the Soviet Union even as that gov't was killing 50 million or so of its own citizens. But there is so much more to come! There is no mention of domestic policy; of how, for example, liberal big gov't Welfare schemes directed primarily at Blacks amounted to little more than genocide as more young Blacks went to jail than to college, as illegitimacy rates rose to 70%, and as, almost, the complete destruction of the Black family was realized. Moreover, there is no mention of how the liberal cancer is killing millions even today. For example, liberal political correctness prevents us from going to Africa or impoverished Muslim countries and speaking the truth, i.e., "you're savages, millions of your children are dying needlessly; here's what you need to do: adopt our Constitution, adopt capitalism, and invite our army or an army in to kill those who oppose these civilizing reforms." But, liberalism is the spirit of our times; it hates the Constitution, capitalism, and the army; so millions of innocent babies continue to die slow deaths in their mother's arms as liberals continue to experiment with an ever growing list of goofy, failed, and very deadly liberal programs that ultimately do nothing more than such programs did for the Soviet Union, China, or Cuba.
Regardless of moral issues, 9/11 taught us the strategic implications of how a failed liberal foreign policy toward even the most impotent and impoverished countries can lead to terror here at home. Accordingly, overcoming liberalism is as important as ever. "Treason" is a brilliant and revolutionary start. Let's pray that there is much more to come. In the mean time there is "The War on The Poor" and "Understanding the Difference Between Democrats and Republicans" If this doesn't make perfect sense please contact me to explain why?

Summary: Coulter is right on with a big splash of political humor
Review: Ann is witty and her work is brilliant and well documented. After reading this take a look at Joseph Persico's "Roosevelt's Secret War." His book validates Coulter's review of how FDR and liberals in charge of the war effort did a very poor job of keeping our war technology from falling into the hands of the Germans and Russia. Take a close look at what she says about Senator Joe McCarthy. His mission was right, but his methods less than acceptable. He was demonized by the liberals who sympathized with the likes of the socialists/communists.

Summary: Christian...I think not!
Review: Ok. Not a lot of charity and christian fellowship in the comments surrounding this book. A lot of finger pointing, frustration and blame-placing though. Good work Ann! Always profitable to fuel the hate mill. And hey, pour gasoline on the fire in this regard isn't just about making money it's also just plain old wacky fun!

Hatred and bigotry are good business, and they obviously sell books. Not that I would buy this "bit o' fluff", you see, I believe in the Public Library system in this country, the one that the current Regime is gutting. Perhaps book burnings will be next...but wait, we've already started burning CD's of the Dixie Chicks, cause they don't like "he who can't be named" so we're already half-way home! I'm fairly sure Ann would have preferred they be hanged for their comments.

I must say, speaking of treason, it's just so ultra-patriotic to turn Americans against each other now. We really need to try to divide this country even further toward two armed camps. Get Americans at each others throats so that when we are attacked again, we can be in total disarray pointing fingers at each other. Once again...good work Ann!

Seems to me there are quite a few people commenting about this book who wouldn't mind seeing some people (who don't agree with Ann's assessment of the state of this country) put in concentration camps. Perhaps one of the camps could be named for Ann herself...Camp Coulterwitz! How cool is that? Way cool! I'm sure Ann would be proud, with her strong Arian good looks and long blonde hair...and my, but is it just me or does she have a delightful Arian sense of humor or what? I would imagine she would consider gassing liberals to be a victory! And what better way to celebrate that victory than with a lovely, fun and rousing Bundt Rally...P>I can't believe this has bugged me enough to even dignify this turd of a book with a comment, but I guess I can only hope to shame someone, anyone, who feels that hatred and blaming are positive uses of their time, to reconsider their options. We need to try to work together now more than ever. And to have a seemingly brain-dead twit (I KNOW she's not stupid, but man, this book could really fool anyone!) like Coulter stirring the pot of hatred like this is amazingly counter-productive. With over 700 comments, it's obvious that this pile of self-aggrandizing evil has been sold to someone. And of course, it's every Americans right, to go out and spend their hard earned money on whatever crap they feel like blowing it on. Personally, I'd have more fun flushing my money down the toilet...which is where this book was written from, and it's where it belongs.

Stop hating each other. How many people who are expressing this level of hatred consider themselves to be Christians? Coulter supposedly does, if I am not mistaken. But her words speak to a level of knowing evil that says hey, if I can make a buck at feeding people vitriol...why not? She is a pragmatist who is strictly doing what it takes to pack her bank account. She is also supporting an agenda that is trying to drive Americans toward mindless hatred and violence.

Aren't we supposed to be better than this? Aren't we supposed to stand for a higher level of human discourse? Please...everyone who has read this and wants to kill someone, take a deep breath and ask yourself, if you consider yourself a Christian...would Christ own an assault rifle? Would Christ want to put a cap in anyone's ass? Would Christ want to brand an entire segment of any population as traitors because of their honest feelings and actions? If 'your' answer to these questions is yes, then this is the book for you!

If you haven't bought this book, please don't. If you want to read this book, go to your local library. They aren't partisan, they provide for all sorts of opinions, vile and otherwise. Ann Coulter is, simply put, a vile and disgusting person, and her hate mongering should not be given any other voice than her own. I guarantee, if she didn't have a readership that paid out their good money for this future landfill material, she'd go back to being what we all can admit to loving and honoring...a lawyer! Keep that in mind when you think of her as the second coming of Christ...

Summary: Sad, mean, pitiful
Review: Well, no one would ever accuse Coulter of being a great prose writer. The language in this book certainly comes from someone trained as a lawyer - it's not prose designed to be read, but designed to be spat out in a harangue.

Indeed, why is it that conservatives spit out the word "liberal" as if it was some foul epithet? Why is it that conservatives stand for Christian beliefs but rarely practice mercy and compassion, understanding and empathy, prefer to cast stones everywhere they can and never turn the other cheek?

Yep, Coulter and others play the same game: they would prefer to play the part of Ebenezer Scrooge and believe any other consideration is worth nothing less than "Bah! Humbug". Can I suggest that Coulter spend less time writing columns and books, boosting her public profile by using self-aggrandising attack as some sort of platform for her "It's Everyone Else's Fault" beliefs, and less time playing the blame game... and perhaps a little more time contributing something positive to this world.

As an author, Coulter makes a fine lawyer.

Summary: Jessica coulter might be the stupidest person of all time
Review: I will start off by saying that despite the fact that i am a liberal, I cannot deny that plenty of conservatives have written thought provoking books and can effectively defend their arguments. Jessica coulter, however, is not one of them. She makes broad statements and generalizations that she never substantiates. If you were to take a conservative dumb blonde and have her write a book, it would end up something like this.

Summary: sludge and simplicity
Review: hey - here's a great idea for a book - i'll pose on the cover to draw people's attention, then suck them in with oversimplifications, making it sound like people who express their opinions are un-American. great if you like your opinions overgeneralized. worthless for any further thought or conversation.

Summary: Dynamite!
Review: This revealing book is long overdue. The book is from a loyal American perspective instead of the perspective of those who are constantly pushing for a Communist "Amerika". Many people would not recognize a truly patriotic view because they have been fed the communist party lie their whole life through various outlets such as government schools, hollywood, and virtually all of the media sources as Miss Coulter suggests. Her excellent book exposes the massive, systematic, and coordinated campaign of disinformation which has been targeted against genuine Americans including our major institutions over the past 50 years, or longer. What is most shocking about the book is the clear implication that the democratic party is a primary front for this communist campaign, not the American hero Joe McCarthy as most citizens of America seem to believe. Ann Coulter is a brave American who is doing the country a great service in her work. We need many more like her! The left will have a low opinon of the book because it tells the well documented truth about their covert agenda. If more people knew the overall mission and methods of their agenda, they sure wouldn't vote for a democrat! Some are already starting to have their eyes opened in this regard and Ann is doing more than her share of the work by exposing the massive lies. We need more books like this; treatments that expose the hidden agenda of the left by pulling together seemingly disparate parts to form the clear, coherent picture. Miss Coulter has done the hard work. All you have to do is buy and read the book.

Summary: Old enough to know she's accurate.
Review: When I bought this book, all I knew about it was that it was written by a woman I have seen a few times on argument-tv shows. It had seemed to me that she had always been, not only right but she had a sense of humor. She seems to display a "smile of reason" in the midst of neurotic liberals who just can't seem to "get it". They are usually so intense in trying to recall the appropriate cliches they have learned by rote, that they don't even hear her jokes let alone understand them. I didn't know that in her book, Ms. Coulter was going to address the lies about McCarthy or how the Strategic Defense Initiative was not given away to a desperate USSR which was on its last legs.I didn't expect that anyone of Ms. Coulter's generation would actually know the truth about the McCarthy period, let alone be able to explain clearly how refusing to follow the established pattern of appeasement led to the end of Communism in the Soviet Union. Her delightful sarcasm was very refreshing to a guy who has heard the liberal lies repeated for so many years. She provides the reader with much more than just telling the truth about those two bits of history. It is a delightful read.
