Summary: Irresponsible Hysteria -- No Facts, Just Emotion
Review: Ms. Coulter, it's time to stop the uneducated name-calling and focus on real issues and real facts. You've become the modern version of our founding fathers' worst nightmare: a self-interested partisan posing as a patriot to boost book sales.

I give this book one star only because a zero star rating is unavailable. Readers, please do yourselves and the country a favor: Read up on the tough, cold *facts* of American history. Choose to read a real history book for this purpose. Don't settle for a biased, emotive tome.

Then exercise your constitutional right to talk about the issues in an intelligent way.

Summary: Treasonous Itself
Review: The United States of America was created in 1776 by men of liberal philosophies. The most liberal time this country has ever experienced was when it declared independence from England, demanded liberty and justice, and set about ensuring its citizens' freedom by creating the Constitution and Bill of Rights.
Liberals are so-called because they love LIBERTY, and they refuse to be limited by authoritarian regimes, such as one that colonized America. They are broad-minded and open to reform and progress. Had conservatives been more powerful in 1776, we would not have our own country today, and you would be singing "God Save the Queen" at the ballpark.

You can thank liberals for the United States of America.

So when Ann Coulter and her ilk denounce liberals and liberalism itself in their breath-taking displays of ignorance, bias and distortion, they mark themselves as enemies of America--traitors themselves. They denounce the very people and philosophies that made this country great. They spit on America's Founding Fathers and those American citizens today who cling to a fervent belief in liberty and progress.

Ann Coulter is an attorney. She knows the legal definition of "treason," and she knows that acts of treason are punishable by death. Ask yourself this: How can you take seriously anyone who charges MILLIONS of America with the crime of treason? Who, if we are to assume that she's being serious about her accusations, would not think twice about rounding up every American with liberal beliefs and lining them up in front of a firing squad?

She is either a lunatic, or a very smart woman who is playing the American public for all it's worth by stirring up the basest emotions of hate and rage and turning them into millions for her bank account.

Either way, this book isn't worth the paper it's printed on, and anyone who takes this TRAITOR seriously ought to have his/her head examined.

Summary: Liberal Backlash
Review: That's what Coulter can expect from this. There are millions of liberals in this country that will be offended by this book's writer, as am I.

I'm not what you'd call a hardcore leftist, but I do go against the grain in a lot of situations because if I think something's wrong, I have the right to stand up and speak what's on my mind. Which, by the way, was a right given to me by my foreparents in the Constitution. Because I don't believe that America's way is always the best way doesn't make this war is any more my fault than yours or yours or yours.
War is a tragedy. War is a terrible, sinister thing that brings young bold soldiers away from their homes, into strange territory, risking their lives for something they don't even know about fully and no one knows about fully except for a select few. The executive branch made a sorry move giving up all the disicion power to President Bush, not just because I don't like him. One man can't do it alone, President or not.I don't trust any one man that is expected to be trusted and hasn't given me any reason to do so.

Saddam Housein is not a good man and I in no way feel like I have protected him at any point by cheering for peace at a streetcorner rally. The Government is going to do what it sees fit, regardless of what the citizens have to say. I love America and just because I have the freedom of speech and USE IT to speak out against our leader does not make me treasonous.

I applauded the Dixie Chicks for speaking out and not taking what they said back. This book at first made me angry, but then I realized just how humorous it was that some people would expect everyone to conform to the belief that America can do no wrong.

Summary: My Mistake
Review: When I saw the title of this book, I thought that it was about George W. Bush and his leading our country into war under false pretenses. Silly old liberal me! I now know that 'treason' is disagreeing with right wing celebrities like Ms. Coulter. I guess I've spent too much time reading books with more than one word in their title and not enough time watching television.

Seriously, it is scary that 157 people who enjoy this trash also recommended an end of the world manifesto "Beyond Iraq". I suppose the same sort of TV junkies who worship Coulter also buy into the fundamentalist obsession with Bible 'prophecy'. What is happening to this country?

Summary: What an eye-opener!
Review: I was stunned at the information Ms. Coulter presents in this book. I must admit, I've been missing many factoids that were never disclose to me on this subject.

Summary: Great book from a great American.
Review: Ann hit the nail on the head, and she backs up her claim of democrat treason with facts. Great read.

Summary: Liberals exposed
Review: The documented FACTS, which show liberals to be the stridently anti-US pondscum that they are, are clearly presented with that characteristic Coulter flair. I can understand why liberals hate this book because it exposes their abysmal, long-term, hate America stance. I had no knowlege of the real Joe McCarthy, having been exposed only to the liberal rhetoric on the subject. My thanks to Ann for un-revising the revisionist history I had been taught!

Summary: Revisionist history corrected.
Review: I am old enough to know what the true history is. An excellent book that "documents" what really happened with respect to Soviet espionage. There were parts that I wasn't aware of, that were well-documented. While there are a few "over-do-its" with respect to some liberals, the book is factual as I remember history and lived it, and sets the record straight. If I could give the book more than 5 stars, I would, because it is a work in non-fiction which correctly depicts a part of the history of this country, and exposes the effects of what communists (or socialists, or liberals, or progressives, or whatever name of the week these people are using) tried to "and did" do to this country, e.g. degrading education, religion, marriage and family, and instituting progressive programs of socialism, and just who are responsible. An especially important history lesson for all young Americans.

Summary: Go Ann!
Review: Very thought-provoking book for the conservative mind.

Summary: Coulter Says It Best
Review: "Expand the electorate to include your political allies. That's why Republicans wanted to enfranchise blacks, prohibitionists wanted to enfranchise women, and Democrats want to enfranchise felons." A FL court did that for felons in 7/03.
